I love those things also. Hoping our June doesn't get as hot as last year....because I want to be able to enjoy it. I think the first 5 months of this year just flew by. Enjoy yourself. xoxo,Susie
Love the list...except item #1..that's because I'm not going on a vacation this summer...boohoo! But I'll still enjoy my "homecation" and I'm just glad it's not snowing!
Vacation - we're saving it for Christmas in Hawaii Warm weather - we skipped and went straight to HOT! Flip Flops -- can't do those with the bike Mown Grass -- love the smell if not the sneezes Porch flowers -- ummm...I guess I should get some Ice Cream Floats -- I'm liking all the frozen yogurt places that have popped up! Bare Feet -- YES Honeysuckler -- it's been amazing the last week or so School's out -- not for us until June 18 Summer has arrived -- soon, but not quite yet!
What I love -- summer festivals that are within biking distance!
Mike, mom and I went to Claremore yesterday to do a little shopping and had a serendipity day -- there was a garden tour benefiting the women's (abuse) shelter, saw the sign, followed it & we all had a great time. We do enjoy seeing all the plants around town! After the tour, we all stopped at an Under the Sun (plant store) and bought a pot of flowers! When we got home that evening, we had a simple meal, then used the root beer that we bought to make root beer floats, yum!
Pretty much same list! Our vacation won't be until Sept, but we will still be popping around the country visiting our soon to be birthed grand baby twins! I have to say every time I see that picture of you blowing the tea I think, 'I need to try that'! So far it's just a dream... Hugs~
Great list - Hoping for a milder summer here than the last few and so far, it's been good. We also have a fun vacation planned (a place where no swimsuit will be required ;-)). I don't know about where you live, but chiggers won't leave me alone in summer.
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!
