When "like" turns to "LOVE", almost

Here's the story -
Last week I bought a new rug for
the living room (replacing an old one).

This is the new one.

When I got it home I decided I liked it,
but I didn't LOVE it.  So, I was gonna
take it back to the store...

Then, (I hope Mister isn't reading this)
I discovered I had lost the receipt.
I could take it back to the store and
probably "discuss" it with them and
get a store credit for it since the original
ticket is still on the back of the rug,

BUT, I have decided that would be
waaaaay to much trouble.  It is actually
easier to learn to LOVE the new rug,
doncha think?

"The path of least resistance"
is sometimes the path I like to follow.

I have a real problem with losing receipts, especially for things I want to return. Grrr!
It looks great!

I loose receipts ALL the time. I like that new rug of yours too, it looks nice in that room!

Sometimes these love relationships take a little time to develop. You know liking first is always the way to go. I really think the rug looks great. Maybe losing the receipt was a blessing in disguise!!

I would have come to the same conclusion as you. It actually is a very nice rug-

I knooowww what you're talkin' bout!Had an in store credit, bought some really expensive towels (the softest in the store for Mister to have after surgery), brought them home and they aren't that great. Lost the receipt and don't know where to find it. I left it alone, but it didn't come home, and I am not draggin' my tail back to BBB to deal with it. Still have a credit on it too. :-(

Well, I like your new rug. I would have a hard time though not LOVING something and keeping it. Maybe you WILL grow to love it in a while...or maybe the receipt will turn up. xo Diana

Don't you hate when you lose receipts - I'm the worst for not keeping receipts when I should. I like the rug you got and it fits in well with the rest of the room :) xx

I've learned over time that you can learn to love just about anything...except water chestnuts...but that's just me. I think the rug looks really nice though so it won't be long before it's in the "love" category!

I'm almost always in favor of the path of least resistance, and from what I can see from the picture the new rug looks pretty lovable.

I am a receipt collector. I just shoe them in a resealable tote. Most the time, I don't need them again but just in case.....

I'm like you: hate to return. I've been surprised by a few things. Didn't think much of them at first, and they turned out to be huge favorites. Maybe this rug will be one of those.

Turning it to love helps when the rug in question is so good looking. You know?
