Check out the New Guys in Town!

This is new to our town
and it has been a BIG deal here
as everyone stops by to give it a try.

When you order a "regular" burger
it comes with TWO meat patties.
Please note this was Mister's burger - not mine!

Soft drink, "regular" Burger, and a cup of fries.
Mister LOVED it!
I had a small burger (1 meat pattie)
and a few fries.

Mister gives it a "9"!
I give it a "6" - I like Sonic burgers better.

But on a day like this,
with the sun high in the sky,
food is merely secondary.
We both give the weather a "10"!

Do you have a "Five Guys" in your area?
What's your favorite burger place?

looks like a home made burger, looks really good, so do the fries. We don't have that one here in Canada that I know of but we are pretty far North and isolated from ther bigger places like Ottawa or Toronto maybe they do.
Our favorite place right now is Harvey's, thier Canadian burger is really good, its like homemade.Their poutine is really good too.Do you know of poutine? Fresh cut fries, gravy with cheese, I can feel my bottom getting bigger as I type this, but its really good!

Agreeing with Laurie, that burger looks homemade! Sonic is about as close as you can get to a good hamburger here. There used to be a wonderful mom and pop diner that made a super good hamburger, but they closed several years ago, nothing that good since then!!

There are none of those restaurants near us, but I hear they are good. The one you pictures looks yummy!

We have Five Guys here in Yuma and at home in Alberta. I think they are delicious but a little pricey.
My favorite place is IN and OUT
10 out of 10 burger and fries and very inexpensive. We do not have one in Canada....

The 5 Guys near our sons is fabulous & you actually get MEAT on your burger ... BUT ... here in Mt. Airy, MD. the 5 Guys is horrible ... have to hunt for the meat, no flavor ... TERRIBLE! Called to talk to corporate about the issues with this one. No improvement. Wish we had a Sonic nearby to try.

Have a lovely day ~

Good Morning Sweetie...
Oh what a yummy share today. That burger looks fresh off the grill. I have to admit though I am with you, I so LOVE Sonic. Give me a #2 and I am happy as a June Bug. Love my cherry coke to go with. Happy Hour is the best.

We have none of those restaurants here in Phoenix, but I like the fries in a cup. Cute idea.

A beautiful outing together. Another warm day here in the desert. Have a glorious day sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Yep- We got one of those about 2 years ago. Our son and his friends love it. We are more apt to go to the place that has been around since my hubby was a kid-still has the same booths and everything. Good food. They put a pat of butter on the burgers before they serve it unless you remember to ask them not to. (Welcome to Wisconsin eateries). I call their burgers SLIDERS! xo Diana

Never heard of that one before, I'll have to ask my SIL in Chicago if they have one. We don't have many burger places in the UK (other than McD, Burger King, etc.)
We do have similar weather here at the moment though and are loving it!

Sonic is my all time favorite! We don't have one here and now I'm craving a good 'ole Sonic burger!

We do! I like it almost as good as Red Robin's. The fries are so greasy... is that why their so GOOD?!!! We order the double and share and it's still a zillion calories. Oh well, only live once!

Looks like a delish place to go. We don't have any chain burger places except the usual...McD's, Burger King, Wendy's, the usual! But we have a small Mom and Pop place called "The Dairy Bar" and they have really good ones! But I really love my own burger sizzling on the grill with some fresh summer tomatoes....I have a few months to get those I guess!

We ate at one in San Antonio, and my husband, hearty carnivore that he is, loved it! I don't eat bread and the little jr. burger I got was still way, way too much, but it was a fun experience.

We dont have a five guy burger place here. We a good but only one burger place in town. it's ran by some of my family and they have the best food esp vanilla milk shakes. small towns. very small towns dont have many eating places. you have to travel 45 mins to an hour to get to a good restaurant like even olive garden or long horn or red lobster.

We DO have a Five Guys and it's really good. My favorite, however is still In 'n Out or The Habit (who has the best chocolate shakes EVER.) But I did really like Five Guys' fries, and their burgers were good, and the place as a whole was a good experience.

I tried it once and I made a mistake of ordering a grilled cheese. I love grilled cheese but they took a regular hamburger bun and squished it into a greasy grilled sandwich. It was awful. My son had a burger though and thought it was really good.

We had a Five Guys in Sacramento, where we used to live, but like you, I was not particularly impressed. It was good, but not spectacular.

My favorite burgers are probably either Wendy's or In and Out Burgers.

We tried Five Guys twice in Frisco, Texas. JC Burger House in Plano is still the BEST and my all time favorite place when I want a really great cheeseburger. AND, they have sweet potato fries. What more could you ask?

We have a few Five Guys here and although their fries are good, their food is overpriced. I miss In N Out terribly. I wish we had that here in Oregon. For now, I guess Red Robin will have to do.

Oh my gosh, where do you live? We live in Springfield, Missouri and we just got one, too. Do we live that close together? Wouldn't that be fun?

We raise beef cattle and no one, not anyone has burgers like we have. I am a lucky broad.

5 Guys is just ok. It's better now that they've got the grill seasoned. However, I love In-N-Out animal fries. And WhataBurger now that I know they do grilled onions. But the v-e-r-y best is Fred's Texas Cafe in Fort Worth TX. Oh my. Yes, I will drive the 60 miles to get one. The fries are fresh cut daily. The beef is good beef. And NO talking until I am done. Oh my. how can I possibly be hungry just writing about it?

We don't have one in Mid-MO yet, that I know of anyway. I'd have to say that my favorite burger place is probably Backyard Burger. But the one closed that is near us, darn it! I think they had it in a bad location. We have a Sonic nearby and I love their BLT's!

No, we don't have a 5 Guys but I sure wish we did! Looks delish! But we do have Millstone BBQ which has a Cowboy Burger that is to die for!! Thank you, God! :-)

Yes, do have 5 Guys nearby & one in mall food court. Not fond of price LOL...enjoy locally owned restaurant's cheeseburger w/hand-made not frozen fried onion rings...yummy!

Our nearest 5 Guys is about 45 minutes away, but we stop there every single time we go anywhere near it. It is our family's favorite burger place ever! Their burgers are the freshest, best tasting things on the planet (in my opinion, of course) and their fries are to die for! Man! Now I want 5 Guys! LOL
