Mind Confetti

Today I logged onto the computer to check my bank balance and totally drew a blank - couldn't remember my account number no matter how hard I tried.  About 5 minutes later I remembered it again.  What's that about??

Bought some new winter shoes and wore them for the first time today.  I won't be sneaking up on anyone as they are so NOISEY!!  Princess yelled from her bedroom, "Why are you so noisey?".  For what I paid for them I deserve to stomp around and make a commotion.

I've had four bright orange envelopes on my counter now for two weeks just waiting to be mailed.  Then it dawned on me today that I should have mailed them Wed.  Oops!  Made a mad dash to the post office.  Sure hope the three Granddolls and my Mom get their treat in time for Monday.

On the drive home from the post office I watched a cloud front move in.  One of the clouds looked just like a woman's Va-Jay-Jay.  Really.  It did.  I wondered if everyone else driving thought the same thing.

Tomorrow we are painting our master bedroom.  I've brought home handfulls of pain sample cards and two actual samples of paint, this week, smeared them onto the wall and not liked either one.  Today I took a deep breath and bought 2 gallons of paint and primer; I simply chose the color from the paint sample cards in the store and we will go with it and I.Will.Love.It.  Regardless of how it turns out I.Will.Love.It. because sometimes that is just what you have to do and this is one of those times. "HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY"

Princess is in my bedroom masking off the moulding, prepping for our painting project.  Wonder how long it will take her to notice that I am not helping and am on the computer?  *tee hee

If you've managed to keep up with this post
then you are qualified to join MENSA.
Congratulations!

What an interesting post of random thoughts! Enjoy your painting; I'm sure you'll like the shade once it's completely done. And is there peanut butter holding those marshmallow teeth between the apple slices lips?

So funny!!

As for the first issue - I know!! I know! It happens to me all the time. And it drives me crazy. I loved that illustration of the female brain though - it explains so much! :-))

Also, you just reminded me about the bright orange envelopes sitting on my kitchen counter waiting to be mailed. Thank you. Umm...gotta go.....

(LOVED this post of awesome randomness, btw!)

I made it through, but I can't pull those numbers up sometimes either so I am no Mensa member.
Now I want to see pictures of the new paint color and the loud shoes.

LOL!! The cloud...LOVE IT! Oh, and I have my moments of forgetting things such as account numbers and everything else inbetween. It's annoying sometimes cause at my age, I shouldn't be so doggone forgetful, or should I?! lol
Good luck on the paint color!

You'll love the new bedroom becasue it will be done. A finished project has got to look great.

I forget my zip code...often. With all my daughters, my sister and other firends, I know I can't remember theirs, but my own....??

The clouds, funny. That is random.

Wow, too much caffeine today? I did laugh at the cloud though! I feel your pain about the painting..we just did our livingroom after I moaned and groaned about changing the color, getting the samples, deciding on a color and it turned out lovely..only the color was nothing like it was suppose to be..but I'm not repainting...not for atleast another couple of years. Yep, I'm...cough,cough,...loving it.

I love the apples with marshmallows too cute!

Oh and to answer your question yes, it's early for snow here we are all in shock! LOL

Have a great weekend!

Blessings,
Jill

I did just fine keeping up with your train of thought, that means we are on the same train! I've seen male parts or food, what does that mean?? So what color did you choose? We painted a goldish tan color when we built and after it was all done, I realized it was cardboard box color. If I've ever homeless, it will be familiar!

I need new winter shoes and have just been too lazy to go shop for them.

Good luck with that painting project.

Thanks for making me smile first thing in the morning, it's a great way to start the day!
So, how did the painting go?? Can't wait to see what the colour you chose is like and, more importantly, whether you like it on the walls!

Have you been in my mind. Maybe that is where my thoughts went. I did the same with my paint in our bedroom, Thought I'd love it. I've never said it didn't turn out how I wanted. I just worked around it. Good Luck.

What a funny post. At the risk of sounding lame, I would be a Mensa member (as my hubby is), but I freeze up when I have to take the test. I know, I know. I got a real giggle when I saw you brought home "pain samples". Have you thought of using all those extra paint sample strips as book marks? If you punch a hole in the top and rubber stamp a design over the colors they are fun gifts. Have a fun day!

Oh Sweetie...
This is the cutest darn post. I love it. You are one heck of a writer.

Can't wait to see the color you chose for the bedroom. I know it is going to be gorgeous.

Now where are the famous boots you bought? Can't wait to see what you chose. Love it that they make noise. Remember when the kids drove us nuts with their noisy shoes? Pay backs...Aren't they wonderful. Step a little louder each time you wear them and see if DD(princess) notices. Ha! Ha! Love it.

I have to tell you, now I missed that cloud. It wasn't visible out here in Phoenix.

Hope you are having a beautiful day sweet friend. Off to Lowe's, I have flowers to put in the ground for Fall. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hope the painting went well! Can't wait to see the finished product.
So...how long did it take before the Princess noticed you weren't helping? :D

You are so funny! I do my mama's banking online and I have her info taped to the inside of my computer cabinet. :) Even though I put in the security questions, I can never remember the answers!

I must admit, I don't think I've ever looked at a cloud that way :) I may be looking closer from now on.

Have fun painting. Last year before Thanksgiving, I painted samples on my walls and then didn't get to the painting. I had my family say which colors they liked best! Your daughter is probably having so much fun with that tape that she hasn't noticed you're gone!

I loved the Mensa reference! I have also been there done that when it is the what are those numbers, names...fill in any number of blanks on that score!

As far as paint swatches go, I think I might take my camera around and just show off all the random paint swabs we've got going! If it isn't paint it's sheetrock 'mud'. My husband is constantly fixing spots on the walls but takes f o r e v e r to paint over the white streaks and sploches. As far as our master bedroom reno...its moving along at breakneck snails pace. I'm thinking Halloween of next year we may be in. Sigh...
