One Month!

4-6-13
Haylee Kate weighed in at 7 lb 5 oz today
at her one month check-up!

Mister and I worked in the yard yesterday afternoon. We're re-mulching every square inch of our yard that isn't covered in grass.  I'm not into "weeding", so this seems the best way to go.  We got half way through, then crashed & burned.  We decided to save some of the fun for another day.  We sat on the front porch for a time trying to muster up enough energy to pick up our tools and go inside.  It was sunny, with a gentle breeze.  The neighborhood was a buzz with walkers & joggers.  Spring is late this year, but it has finally arrived, and it feels really good,  'specially when you're sharing the porch with your favorite guy.

Oh, Haylee Kate is adorable!!! Can't believe it's been a month.

Ok, what is re mulching? Does that mean you just put mulch where your plants are and over the weeds? Cause I'd love to skip weeding and I need to be doing it right now! I did mow Saturday :)

Hayley is a month old already? She so beautiful. I know that you're enjoying the special bonding time with her.

Lucky you that the weather is holding out. Here, it's not time to be outdoors just yet.

Haylee is so cute! Boy, I'm jealous of everyone that can be working in their gardens already! Have so many things I want to do in my floral beds.

Haylee is sooooo doggone cute!!! You guys are having so much fun keeping her all dolled up.

I've not heard about re-mulching, but it sounds better than treating or pulling weeds. I do not like hard work anymore, but I do like sitting outside with my favorite guy. (and really, the only time I ever enjoyed yard work was this time of year.)

Oh- She is growing and is as cute as a button. Good job on the mulching. I can't wait for it to warm up here so I can get outside-xo Diana

I love Haylee Kate's outfit and I'm glad to hear she is gaining weight.
The yard work sounds exhausting, but so nice to get it done....or at least partly done. :)

Happy one month to adorable Ms Haylee Kate! How precious she is! I'm with you on the mulch, we have yet to order and spread ours. We've been really late with warm weather here in Nawth Cackalacky as well so we've got a bit more time than usual.
Rest up...you got the rest of the load!

It's been a wonderful warm week so far..and rain is coming...but I'm anxious to mulch and get the flower beds in shape. That baby is so sweet and I love her bow! She's growing fast and time is flying...soon you'll wonder how she got to be a toddler so quick!

Love your description of your neighbourhood I wish we could say Spring has finally arrived but it's still not great here - though it is slightly warmer :)
