SWEET TEA

from ME to YOU.

So much sadness coming from the TV today.
It's easy to forget that the world is full of wonderful, caring, people.  Evil is NOT the norm and there is so much more GOOD than evil. I must remind myself of this fact.  Coming to my blog and then browsing through blogland and visiting with you - seeing what you're doing, and reading about your families and projects brings me back to reality.  I've been very busy lately, and I miss having as much time as I once had to visit with you, but please know you're not forgotten.  I wish I could stop by your blog daily, but that's just not possible right now, but when I can stop by it is a real treat!

May God bless and bring healing to all, especially to those in Boston and Texas.

Now - here's a little piece of "happy" from my house -

Haylee Kate (6 wks, approx 8 lbs) and Lil' Mama

Tell me something "Happy" in your house today.
I'd love to hear!

Awe - there is a LOT of GOOD out there if we look - and this is one of them. Precious! Sandie

Love that picture!
There is a lot of trouble in my area right now - non stop rain is causing flooding of areas that have never flooded before. An area nursing home is evacuating, restaurants are closing and people are leaving their homes.
On the other hand - I brought my Dad home from the hospital today after a successful heart procedure was done yesterday.

My happy today is that my dear grandson (9) is home from school (sorta sick) with me.

Love your daughter and granddaughter photo. Sweet.

Oh, how precious, sweetie. She is darling, the time flits by too quickly ... savor every second.
I have our dumpling 2 couple days a week, & love every second of her.

I , too, have not had the blogging time I would like to have.

So glad to hear from you ...
Hugs,
TTFN ~ Marydon

What a precious picture of your girls.
I am happy that today the sun is shining after what seems like days and days of clouds and snow.

Absolutely beautiful picture of love and devotion. I've been a little tardy of late too...
Good news...my husband, Madi and I are all healthy and snug as bugs in a rug...

Unfortunately both of my parents are not well. Mama's is ongoing. Daddy fell on the concrete driveway 4/8, fractured his skull, had a subdural hematoma and brain bruising. Had surgery to remove the hematoma on 4/9. He is still in ICU...brain is stabilized. He developed pneumonia an is now on a ventilator. Meeting with the neurosurgeon tomorrow. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

Hugs madi and Mom

Your babies are beautiful. Lil Mama and Haylee look like they are quite content.

The very bad things that are happening are distressing. Thinking about all the losses suffered this week by so many people.

My happy today was thinking about all I have to be thankful for. Thunderstorms this morning found us in a nice warm bed, I was able to make choices about what I would do today, I have my family, and a long list of other things.

Isn't she sweet? She is a GOOD in this world, that's for sure. How cute she is and I bet she is gonna be a petite little thing. Do you know our last grandson weighed in at over 10 pounds? Can you imagine delivering THAT? At least it was a boy and not a 10+ pound girl! xo Diana

I don't have anything as sweet as the pic of your cute daughter and Haylee happening in my house but we did have a sunny and very warm (82)day! It's going to rain and get cool again but I'll take this tiny gift today!

Happily painting the kitchen and sprucing it up. After 2 years of non-stop fatigue in my battle with bladder cancer I'm finally feeling like it's time to do things and it feels so good!!

A happy week with my immediate family, storms were in the area but all is well, my son is doing well (good week). After having several very busy months, a week doing paperwork & getting caught up is a luxury. Enjoying!

Oh she is just precious! We had a project done outdoors (sidewalk and driveway) and they're finished on time and in budget (well, except for $120 which I won't count), and I'm happy with the result. There is also a weekend trip to Florida on my calendar, coming up soon and that makes me supremely happy.
