SWEET TEA

I've missed you.

I've been on a Bloggy Break,
and though I've not posted or left comments,
I've been reading your words
and following along.
Does that make me a
"Stalker" OR a "Lurker"?
Regardless,
I've missed you.

Princess has left home.
She's moved to another state to live with her boyfriend and his family.

Growing up is harder for some
than it is for others.

Mister and I are heartsick, but moving forward.
"Nuff said, at least for now,
but I felt I had to disclose this since
I blog about my life
and this is where I am in my life
at this moment in time.

I know part of moving forward is to return to blogging and visiting with you, which is something I enjoy doing.

Look at this!
I saw this gaudy rainbow of Christmas trees in a store last week.
It SHOUTED to me and caused me to take notice. "Things that make you go hmmmmm".

It feels good to Blog again.
What made you feel good today?

Nice to see you back. Sorry to hear about Princess - parenting is tough.
Interesting trees!

Honest to goodness - seeing you here. I know nothing is settled. But you made it through the day. Good for you.

Hey I have a question for you. I have never been able to figure how to cross through a word while posting. Can you tell me?

Again - hugs and prayers.

seeing this post, ha ha, I saw that someone had already said the same thing but great minds think a like!!!Glad you are back, we cannot control what our children do, completely but as long as we are there for them and love them everything will work out, I was in your shoes once, it all worked out,

It made me feel good that you were able to share the difficult time you are going through. I hope it made you feel good too. A difficult time....but know you have a world of support.

Your photo of the "bouquet" of Christmas trees made me smile, and I can imagine how concerned you are about Princess. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways to bring about a good thing from a difficult thing, after some time passes.

I'm a new visitor to your blog. My heart aches for your daughter and that situation. Thanks for sharing. Maybe she will realize that it's not quite the good life she thought.

You and your family will be in my prayers.

I'm sorry for this rough road. I think when I was a young mom I thought one day I'd be done. Sometimes prayer is the smallest and biggest thing we can do. Hugs to you.

ps...too early for colored Christmas trees, although in my opinion there is never a right time for some of those colors!

Hi honey
Blog breaks are necessary now and then. I too have been AWOL but mostly because my computer is trying to take a permenant break on me.
So very sorry to hear this about your precious daughter. I know how you feel and my heart hurts with you. I will add you both to my prayers.
What made me happy today was realizing how lucky I am to have the friends and family that are always around when I need them.
Love
Maggie

Sometimes we just have to step back and let our kids figure some things out for themselves..and they usually do. As many have said, "Been there"..and I could tell you a few stories..Hang in there and I'm glad you're back blogging. That made me happy! I'd like to smack every store owner that puts up Christmas before Halloween. I saw it going up today at Wal-Mart.

Sorry to hear about your daughter!

Those trees are wild. They couldn't even wait until after Halloween. Whew. Crazy!

So far nothing. I'm in that down and out feeling and have been for 5 days now. Feeling like every member expects me to hold it all together. Nice to see you back.

Those trees.....hmmmmmm. Not really my thing either but I guess it takes all kinds, right? ;)

Have been in your shoes...one never expects to be there, but you will all move ahead and through this time. Prayers and support will get you to "the other side" of this..
Hugs...BIG ones!

Life is hard. Period. You are doing great. Period. God has a plan and everything is as it should be to take us where we need to go. Hang in there.
(Been there and done that. You can too!!)

Sorry to hear about Princess. I know how hard that must be for you. Sometimes parenting just plain old sucks! I'll be praying for all of you.
