By the time I made it to safety
I had sprayed all the porch furniture,
my new ourdoor cushions,
the shrubs (probably killed them)
and barely got away with my life.

Ha!!! Poor you- I feel the same way about those nasty wasps~
wow, that was an adventure, will you repeat that tomorrow, ha ha, I'm afraid of them too, thats a nasty sting they give, my poor little girl had one get down in her rubber boot one day , she was 7 and it was bad, we were berry picking, poor little thing she was stung a few times before we got it out, I hate them, ( my mama said not to use the word hate) but I hate wasps.
EEK...Me too! I ducked from one chasing me one time and my eye met a door knob...try to explain that black eye!
Sounds like me when we have a mouse in the house! (we live on a farm, so mice try sneak in the house in almost every winter!) You should hear me squeal...hehe. :)
Oh-yeah- I don't mind honeybees-I don't mind bumblebees but I HATE those wasps. Glad you escaped with your life- xo Diana
Don't know if you believe in them or not but did you notice the orb in the picture of you and your son from christmas? It jumped right out at me.

They are so crazy this time of year...building their nests in every nook and cranny..even under plastic chairs. They do have a purpose though. They eat aphids off of plants...if that helps the hate any..The things I really hate are those black and white hornets..now they hurt!
Oh dear... I've definitely done that dance a few times myself. I hate wasps too. Nasty little buggers.

Oh my gosh!! Your way of telling about it was funny... but running from wasps is no laughing matter, I know. eeek! I hate bees/wasps/hornets!!!

Can't stand the things either!! Honey bees are fine, bumble bees are fine, wasps, are not fine!!!! My husband always tells me not to run, because they will chase you. That is hard, instinct is to run!!!!
They just look nasty don't they? My husband calls them "spawn of the devil". I would dance too.
