SWEET TEA

Birthday Cutie!

It's not easy to have your birthday on Dec. 25.
But one of my favorite friends does just that.
I think that makes her extra special from
the get-go.

We three Divas
met for lunch yesterday to celebrate!
(Yikes! I look sleepy!)

Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl!!
Besides being a cutie pie, she also has
the sweetest Mississippi accent, makes THE
best sweet tea, and is the best hostess I know.
She is truly a Southern lady with a beautiful smile
and a heart as big as the South.
Happy Birthday Phyllis!!

Lunch with two of my favorite friends.
I feel like it's MY birthday!

Happy Birthday to your friend!!

I remember one kid in elementary who had a birthday on Christmas and thinking how lucky he was until he clarified how unlucky he really was...ya know, since he doesn't get as much present had the days been separated. lol

Happy Birthday to your friend. How wonderful! My sil was born on Christmas Day too...she hates it!;<( I blame that on her Mother who never did anything special for her on that day. xo Diana

Looks like you girls had a great little birthday celebration! Holiday babies get kind of cheated, too much hustle and bustle to make the proper amount of fuss that is required for a birthday! I DIDN'T know Land of Fluff Mom was your daughter! Loved, loved her Christmas version of 1 Corinthians! So true, we get so busy that we forget it's not about decorations or food or presents. It happens to us all but a little reminder gets us going in the right direction again! Merry Christmas Sweetie, love your posts and the friendship that we have as bloggers!

My best friend as a child had a Dec. 24th birthday. Number one...parties were not much of an option because we were out of school and it was a holiday day. Number two - people would give her one gift for Christmas and saw that it was for both events. Even today....I give her two gifts....a Christmas one....and one wrapped in birthday paper.

My mother's birthday was Christmas and she never liked it. We always tried to make it special, using birthday wrapping and cards. Now that she's gone, Christmas has never been the same. Happy Birthday Phyllis!

Happy Birthday to your friend!!
It is very nice of you all to celebrate especially for her B-day being and not combine it with Christmas.

Christmas Day has flown past. Just now I have a quiet moment between bouts of after-Christmas sale shopping. I wanted to stop by and wish you all the joys of the season. As the quiet week approaches, may you find time to do all the things you most love. May you know, each day, how very blessed and loved you are. Happy Holidays, friend. ~ Relyn
