A little bit of Heaven

I'm thinking I will pin this to Mister's shirt
before he leaves the house each day,
or perhaps a tatoo is the way to go.(?)
He is a BOOKAHOLIC.
Yes, he has a problem but has not
hit rock bottom yet,
so he continues to accumulate
Books, Books and more Books...
It's always been this way.

This is what he is hoping Heaven will be like.
He is a sweet, God loving person,
so God probably has this space
reserved for him.

Me?

My heavenly mansion is gonna have LIPSTICK
in colors we cannot even begin to imagine.

Love.Me.Some.Lipstick.

I admit that I am completely addicted a little obcessive
when it comes to the yummy colors in a tube,
or on a wand, or in a case, or a pencil;
The gloss, the matte, the long wearing,
the diamond shine.
So many colors.  So many choices.
So little time!

Deep breath - I'm getting overly excited
just thinking about it.

So how about you -
what will your Heavenly mansion
be filled with?

I'm with Mister...books, books and more books. Then, my next choice would be crab legs with melted butter and mashed potatoes and asparagus on the side!

I have to agree with your husband...I just can't take in enough books! THere aren't enough hours in the day to read!

How funny! I tend to collect both! Your husband would fit right in at our house. Every one of us is a book lover - we have bookshelves in every room, usually overflowing!

Oh my mansion is going to look a lot like a dog kennel with every shape and variety of dog there.... And I will be a happy, happy girl!

ANSWERS! I want to know what Jesus wrote in the sand when the accusers slinked away....

I want to know what kind of fruit Eve actually ate...

I want to watch the world's story over from Creation to the end...

And, if I'm finding the answers in books while eating chocolate that would be great. If I'm at the feet of Jesus, that would be even better.

I will be telling your husband to move over because I'm joining him! However, I will probably have a tube of color of the day lip gloss tucked in a pocket somewhere...

I'm with the book lovers on this one!

And I love this one from MommaMindy: ..."if I'm finding the answers in books while eating chocolate that would be great. If I'm at the feet of Jesus, that would be even better." Now that will be Heaven.

Love that picture of Book Heaven. I'm so glad to see I will know so many bloggers when I get there. Some years ago I discovered the "Used Book Stores" where you can trade in your paperbacks get to take home all new ones.... yay!! It's my mission to not pay, so I garage sale books just to trade. My "on order" list for the library is up to about 30 I think.

I do have to say, I love lipsticks too. Why can't they make one that stays on though. The ones taht do, in the wands are sooo drying to your lips. Have you found a good brand. I am a sucker for the department store give aways when you spend $xx.00. They always have lipsticks in them.

My best friend and I often joke that when we travel to Heaven we'll meet up under the chocolate tree! Heeehehehe! It's gotta be all about the chocolate!

God bless and have a terrific Thursday!!! :o)

Thanks to Mister, we have atleast some bookstores open.
Lipstick is good too. There - - you can start a trend, I am certain to follow except that my kids are going to disown me.

Lots of books for me too, with and unending supply of fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies and milk.

Hopefully all my family...well, most of them anyway! If my mansion has an attic I'll sneek up for some cheesecake. Wait, if it's heaven I won't have to sneek.

I love books too! I also love make up of every kind. I want you to put all those colors on and go somewhere! It'll be a conversation starter.

I'm also like Yaya.....I want to see all my family there.

Shoes. Definitely shoes. And my old bones will be able to wear ALL of them. But maybe then they won't be old bones anymore...right? And my family. Maybe not IN my mansion, but right next door.
I had to laugh at your lipsticks. I am like you - I'll fall in love with a color and then, somehow, it isn't quite perfect, and I go on to the next. I have SO MANY barely used colors sitting around that I feel guilty just throwing away. I might like them again one day, you know?

The Tattered Cover in Denver celebrates 40 years this year. I have never seen a book store like this one! Amazing! I have 108 books in my wish list at my book club where I get best sellers and such for $9.95! LOL! I hope someday I can buy all of them!
I love to read! Hugs Anne
