Well I was glad to know you did not mean Dallas or the other D word. I had to laugh.....during the winter, when I wear pants all the time I don't shave as often as I do in the summer....but I also don't have a lot of hair on my legs either....since I have gotten old. :-)
Mother Nature has saved the drains at my house. The older one gets, the less hair one grows, and I'm not talking just on the head or legs either. I save sooo much money on those summertime Brazillian bikini waxes now! Heehee.
I've noticed some other blogger comments about the lack of hair as we grow older..I'm not shaving as much as I used to either. The only benefit I can see so far about getting on in years! Working in surgery like I do, I've seen some very creative shave jobs...and some very unshaven legs too...unfortunately!
LOL. I couldn't think of what you would do with "BIG D". As I am getting older and a red head I have never had to much of a problem with shaving. In the summer when I feel my leg hair blowing I know it's time for a shave. I laugh and say it time to shave.
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

Got my smile this morning- don't think I could do semi-annual...even though I am not very hairy...I just don't like the "feel" of hairy legs! xo Diana
Thanks for my morning laugh!
Ha ha...does that mean that you need a very big razor also?
oh my gosh I laughed out loud when I read this,,
LOL!! That's funny!! I couldn't imagine what my legs would look like if I shaved them semi-annually...LOL!!
They are that long - huh? sandie
That is funny! I swear I only have a dozen hairs on my legs, but I still miss half of them when I do shave the darn things.

I used to refer to Diorhea as "Big D" when my kids were younger.
Ah, you're a girl like me, perhaps. Getting older has not diminished the hair on my legs. I'd be a gorilla if I let it go.
:) :) Semi-annual, huh? Are you sure you are not over doing it? Too often, I mean. :)
Lucky you. I'd need a weed-eater.
HaHa! That is so great!
