This is the toddler that was entralled
by the flushing mechanism of a toilet.
He flushed books, toys, his sister's lipgloss
(and basically anything that wasn't nailed down).
Yes. It became a real problem.

We scolded.
We threatened.
We placed locks on the bathroom door, etc. etc.
Still the flushing continued.

One evening said child managed to flush
3 Weebles down the toilet.

"Weebles wobble
but they don't fall down"?)

Young, tired Mom that I was,
I said, "Just wait till your Daddy
gets home. . .".

To my surprise he dropped to his
knees and began one of the most
serious, solemn prayers I have
ever heard, asking God to please
unplug the toilet before his Daddy
came home.

To my amazement the toilet began
to bubble and up they came.
Gurgle. Gurgle. Plop.
One Weeble.
Then two Weebles.
Then three Weebles.
Never doubt that children
have God's ear; A child's prayer
is a powerful thing.

How cute! Weebles wobble but they don't "flush" down.
Too funny! Yes I remember them but never had any.
So precious!

That is priceless....a true Kodak or Master Card moment. I loved this story.
OMG!!! That is so awesome!!
Oh, and yes, I remember weeble woobles. In fact, I had the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse set. I had it years ago and a couple years ago I was browsing eBay and saw them on there and started to reminisce and wonder whatever happened to them. So you know what I did? I bought the ones on eBay! LOL
BTW....Happy Birthday Greg!!
That is one of the funniest and sweetest stories I've read in a long time! :) Thanks for sharing it with us. Happy birthday to your little flusher! :) Wonder if it still fascinates him as much now that he's a grown man... ;)
I remember those dang little Weebles...my son (who also will turn 38 this summer) had them. I don't recall that they did anything but wobble and where's the fun in that? LOL Yes, children are so precious to God and to us!
Happy Birthday to your "little man"!
I miss Weebles so much! I grew up with them and LOVED them!
At least they popped right back up. God sure hears little ones prayers.
