Wellllll..........if you want total honesty, I have to say I'm starting to look my age. I have been blessed with pretty good genes. Never really showed my true age. And I admit that when I run around with my two older kids, I still hear "No way these are your kids! You aren't old enough!" Often when I have my grandson, I hear that I can't possibly be a grandmother.
But I'm not hearing those things as often as I used to. When I look in the mirror, I understand why. :(
As for how old I feel, I have to say that most days I don't feel nearly as old as I am. I am 44 and when asked my age, for some reason I always want to say '34'. Which could create an awkward situation when they learn that my son is 26. ;)
On a good day, I look about 14. It's a curse. I know..someday I will see it as a blessing. I feel my age most days. I work hard to make sure I look it..its tough. A pony tail or anything cutsie can send me back to looking 14 again.
I have no idea how old I look, but most people tell me I don't look like I should have 21 year old, which is great, because I'm actually 29! Which, by the way, is how I feel! ("I don't wanna grow up!")
Well, I'm 57, but people act astounded when I tell them. I've had folks guess as low as 35, so I really don't know how old I look. Physically, other than creaky knees, I feel like I always have. I really don't feel any different than when I was a teen. A bit slower, but not that much. Hmmm...maybe I was an out of shape teenager. Fun question.
Up until a couple of years ago, I thought I was aging pretty well. But now I think I look my age--which doesn't make me happy. I'm like Kelli, not hearing the comments anymore that I don't look old enough to have grandchildren, etc. It's sad.
I think I look 25....Seriously, people always give me really strange looks when I tell them I have a 17 y.o. and have been married for 21 years. I tell everyone that for every year older I get, I gain at least 10 pounds....the fat pushes all the wrinkles out! LOL
As to how old I feel.....some days I swear I feel 16, but other days, I feel like I'm 70....today is a "70"...lol!
Hmmm, very interesting. I know I don't feel my age and I've been told I don't look my age either. I think I look mid 40's and often am mistaken for that. I'm 53 verging on 54 in June and very proud of it...
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

I think I look my age. I feel at least ten years younger, and I certainly feel younger than I did ten years ago..
