It's been doing lots of this lately.
And, again today.
We've been doin' lots of this . . .
and this . . .
I can handle a rainy day, but Mom can't.
She wants to be busy 24/7
and I'm out of ideas to keep her busy.
Soooo,
today Mom and I are going to a movie,
a movie that opened last week
and is already at the "B" movie theater.
It will be fine, as the movie is
secondary to the activity of simply going to the movie.

I hope you enjoyed the movie. We don't really go to the movies much, and when we do it's always to see movies that have been out for a while :)
Sometimes a girl just needs to get out of the house! I've learned, when my mom and I have our weekly day together, to have something planned. Mom needs the activity and fun to get her through another week of caregiving with my dad. Chemo makes him cranky, and she needs an outlet!
Enjoy the movie! I enjoy the popcorn much more than the flick...good thing since it costs more than the movie! Stay dry!
I agree with Yaya! The movie is fun but the popcorn is more expensive so enjoy the popcorn and make sure you get a bottomless bowl! :)

OH I hope the movie was a good one. I know you are devoting so much time and care to your Mom and new bebe it might be just the thing to have a little 'sit down' with your Mom at the movies!
