Ducks in a Row

I have been the "Cleaning/Purging Queen" for the last two weeks, and I have the clean closets to prove it.  I have hauled away lots of "stuff" to the Goodwill and lightened the load of this home by a good many pounds.  I've culled through stacks of things deciding what should go and what should stay. . .Then I watched the news and saw so many people who have lost everything.  I vow I will not complain about the job of cleaning closets.  I am blessed to have a messy closet full of things, and then to get to choose what to keep and what to let go of - this is a privilege when you really think about it.

Mister has not had a good week.  He has a cold/sore throat and pink eye in both eyes.  Yikes!  I can't even  imagine where he picked up these nasty germs.  I have been in full-blown Germaphoeb mode. I've doled out meds, cooked soup, and inhaled sprayed lots of Lysol, and I may have muttered "This is why I don't like winter" amidst the Lysol fumes.  Never mind that it has been in the 70's, sunshiney, and still officially Fall.  Someday some smart person will discover that some people are simply genetically wired to be cranky in November and December.  When that happens just remember that you heard it here first! OK?!

I appreciate those of you who stop by often to read my words. Thank you for caring.  Thank you for your prayers.  Thank you for your encouragement.  You have helped me through a difficult time and I pray God's blessing on you - you have made a difference to me!  I will not forget it, and you can be sure that I plan to "pay it forward" in your behalf.

Princess will be home today.
This is the answer to many prayers,
and many of them have been prayed
by you.  Thank you so very much.

And yes, Boudxy will be home too!

The closet cleaning was maybe very good therapy for you in this time of change in your life. I know you must be very excited about Princess' homecoming.

I'm so glad to hear that your "babies" are coming home. Cleaning out closets is such a great way to clear out the clutter, mentally and physically. We haven't have more than sniffles here for several years. Knock wood. Tell hubby to hang in there, this too shall pass.

I am thanking God with you for all these wonderful blessings. Very thankful that your babies (and Boudxy) are coming home and you will be able to breathe that big sigh of relief and what a great Thanks-giving you will have.  Hope Mister gets well quick!! (did the flu shot cause that?)

I am so happy that Princess will be home!! You 2 are so close, this is the way it should be! I will continue to pray!

Sorry to hear about your husband. This time of the year is not my favorite either.. i think I get S.A.D. but I have no real confirmation of that. How is WW going? I hit another all-time high of 151 and reacted by giving WW Onlne my credit card numbers again. Ugh! Will I never learn? Week One. Starting over!

I hope your hubby is feeling better soon. Mine is not top notch today either..something in the air perhaps? I'm very glad your daughter is coming home. She will need lots of love and support and I know it will be a blessing to her and to you. I have so much purging to do that I'm not sure where to start! But you're right, I'm so glad I have the choice to even have things to give away. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

So sorry your husband is sick. He sounds like a mess with two pink eyes! Hope he feels better soon and hope you don't join him. My husband had a cold for about two weeks. Way to go on cleaning. I was just thinking that I have to take a break from my computer and get my house back in order. I have neglected it too long!

Bless your heart. I applaud your closet-ckeaning spree and feel just as you do, that we ought to be thankful to be able to give things away. :)

My "crankiest" month is always February, at the end of the long winter. Fortunately, it is also the shortest month.
Blessings to you - Marsha

O, Tea...I seem to think about those poor people that have nothing left every time I eat something good..or climb into a nice, warm DRY bed...

Now, holidays coming up
..Thanksgiving..Christmas...bless their hearts.

Tiara for a Bunco...AWESOME idea...I'm going to get one for next month...the ladies will be thrilled to death. :))
