*Here* is where the best friends hang out!!

The Pity Party is over!
The crying towel is in the hamper
and MaMa's got her groove back.
Thank you so much for all the kind comments and encouragement you left for me after my last whiney, sorrowful, pathetic, despairing, down-in-the-mouth, sad, pitiful  post. I keep going back and re-reading all your words and each time I am "lifted" by your kindness.  No one understands women, more than other women. Sometimes we walk, sometimes we run, then sometimes we whine and rage and cry and kick our feet, but there is always someone to help us up after our fit and point us in the right direction, right when we need it the most.  Thanks, Friends!

I have been re-evaluating my life.
Time to quit whining and adjust to the idea of a "new normal".
*I tried to sell my kids on the idea of a Commune but no one wanted "in".
So now I'm onto plan B.
*Stay tuned*

Big smiles! I knew it wouldn't take you long! That's just not you! We have discussed a commune for our family. So far, it just hasn't worked out.

Even in blogland, we women can find a way to fellowship and lift each other up. Glad you are feeling better!

One of the ways the Superhero tried to sell my on the land we bought was that if times got really bad we could move trailers there and everyone live in a commune. That was NOT a great selling point in my mind! :)

Kids just gotta fly!

Sorry I missed your pity party! You are a winner and will land on your feet - just like your kids are doing!! The best is just ahead. It will be different but it will be GREAT!

The "new normal" will soon become normal and you will find the positive side of it, but boy, I know those kind of changes are hard.
A commune? I would have to give that a lot of thought.

I'm glad you got your groove back but
sorry to read your son and DIL are moving so very far away but OMCs Washington State is beautiful. I wish them well in this next adventure.

Ha! Plan B! Good idea! Not long ago I felt like I did live in a commune...believe me, you don't want to go there!

Tea...it will all work out better than you think, I believe. With a great attitude like you have, things will settle into place.

Funny you mention commune, because my husband and I have been joking about a compound back in Idaho, when he retires next year LOL

Friends and family keep inviting themselves to come live on the land with us hahaha

I'm glad you're feeling a little better. It's understandable to be hurting and sad. Being a military family we don't have anyone near us, ever. It IS hard especially around the holidays, but I'm sure you'll make it work and will still be able to get all together :)

Can't wait to hear about your plan "B"! And if that doesn't work either, there are still 24 letters left! (Found that quote on Pinterest!)
