I wonder how the characters at theme parks
survive the Summertime heat?
Yes.
I may have lingered at the frozen food
case in the grocery store
yesterday. Very thankful there
are no time restraints for
selecting one's frozen food
items.

It's super duper hot here today too....a scorcher as they say. I work in surgery and it's usually freezing..and today was no different only not one person complained..not patient, not worker, certainly not me. We have to park 1/4mile from the hospital. I melted....I really wish I could just shrink! Oh well, it will be better by Sunday. Have a good weekend!
I hear ya sistah, ha ha ( I always wanted to say that), but honestly, these hot flashes in the summer are a killer, we haven't hit the temps you are at though but it did hit 100 here yesterday!
Keep cool,
It's bad enough that it's hot - but coupled with hot flashes... well that's just terrible! Have you tried picking up a 2% estrogen cream at Whole Foods, Mother's, or whatever you have there in the form of a health food store? Someone recommended that to me, and I think I'm going to try it.
This heat has been unreal!!!
TWO HOT MAMA'S! sandie
Will you be disappointed if I tell you those costumes are air cooled?
It is hot hot hot hot here- xo Diana
I feel your heat Missy! We are baking and I find myself lingering in the frozen food section as well! What is salt in the wound is my 24 year old daughter reaching for her sweater...
Sigh, those were the days~
Hugs
haha! That frozen food section always feels so good this time of year!! Stay cool...
I hear ya. Any freezer is a blessing.
I've worked in a number of professional kitchens, and the walk-in coolers are a blessing!

I think you may be onto something... I never thought of spending the afternoon in the ice cream aisle! Do you think they would notice if I brought a lawn chair over from the garden center and just set it up in the middle of the aisle???
I did not know those costumes were air cooled! I've often wondered how they stand being in those costumes especially in the heat! It hasn't (surprisingly) been quite as hot here in Florida as in some of the more northern and western states. I'm not complaining and I'm sure before the summer is over we'll be up there. Not that it isn't hot just not triple digits!
So far I've endured the hot flashes and Oklahoma summers fairly well. I do run around naked a lot (INSIDE) to stay cool. I also tell The Hubby to just put another blanket on his side of the bed!
I would rather be COLD than HOT any day!! You can always put on MORE clothes but there is a limit to what we can take off! And as I get older......I can't tastefully take off as much as I used to!
LOL, I've wondered too how they can bear all that heat in their costumes. I know I couldn't! stay cool and have a wonderful Sunday!
Blessings,
Jill
We went to Disney World in March and it was hot then....I felt sorry for the characters. I can't imagine being one in 100+ degree heat. I feel your pain with the hot flashes. Not fun at all.
Oh I love your fan!! The fan has become my best friend this last year. I am constantly looking for a new model or color. As long as I am going to be hot I might as well have fun with it!!!
Officially 105 in NC today. Maybe I will try th frozen food aisle too
Frankly I am about done w/ it too.
You crack me up
Hugs

Hi There. Having gone through Menopause I can tell you one thing for sure, even with air conditioning, a fan in every room is still your best friend. Walmart used to sell little dollar fans that were battery operated and fit easily in a purse - i always had two on me at all times. Hot flashes aren't fun and the "change" sure isn't for sissys!! Hugs.
I agree, the people who dress up in costume should be paid very well!!!
