SWEET TEA

As seen from the Bayou

It's a rainy day on the Bayou.
And this is how we puddle...er
muddle through it.

Boudxy is afraid of the thunder
so he huddles close to "Mom"
while she does school.

Some newly planted baby flowers
snuggled safely on the porch
away from the heavy rains.

"Irony"
A hose among the plants
as rain falls all around.

I think this little guy is goin' in for a swim.

Garth, our "Guard Gator" seems to
be enjoying the rain.
What?
You don't have a "Guard Gator"?
Then, you obviously must not live in Louisiana.
Now, if we could only teach him to catch mosquitos
we could clone him and become millionaires!
Everyone needs a rainy day dream and this is mine.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I'm not very motivated on this rainy day,
so if you play "Words with Friends"
please search for me
User Name - Boudxy.
"Game on!"

We had lots of rain yesterday but not as much as you all.
Mom has heard about words with friends but she doesn't participate.
She says keeping my blog up is full time work

Love your new plants- hope the rain doesn't become a flood!

I have a little pup that is afraid of rain, thunder and lightening too. Your pup is so sweet looking. Nothing like having mama close by.

Loved this post. Real and ruminating! :)

Not sure I could go with a Guard Gator, though. I think that one is beyond my risk level.

Have a fun day - Marsha

We've had sun so I have no complaints. I plan on getting my annuals for baskets and planters this weekend. Now that I've said that, it will rain.

We could actually use a bit more rain here, though I am enjoying the sun a lot! ;-)

Your sweet doggie is so cute!!

Never tried words with friends but I heard it is very addicting!

Have a great afternoon!

Blessings,
Jill

That's what my yard is missing... A "Guard Gator". I'm going on the hunt for one.
Stay dry.

I don't have a guard gator but if it doesn't stop raining here I will have the real thing in my flower beds.
I would love to play this game. Where would I find it. lol
It might be the game I see my son playing on his I-Pad with his friends.
Have a great weekend

We've had a ton of rain too. My yard sloshes! I'll need something other than my hide to take on the skeeters when they emerge from our "swamp" yard! Love the guard gator!

Cute cuddle pic! We're about to get a dog and I've been wondering how the new family member would be fitting into our homeschool days.

Has it cleared up there yet? It's been raining here all afternoon. Was hoping the sun would come out.
No gators in my yard, thank you. My mother actually had a few real ones in her back yard when she lived in Deland (FL). Also, the Gators are our rivals. LOL
I hope you found an opponent who is worthy to play you!!!
