"Google" Giggle

I'm jumping on board the Tuesday Train.
This is a first for me.
Whee!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I need to have my hair cut.
I've been trying to get in touch with my beautician, but since she works from her home, sometimes she is hard to reach.  In the meantime I've been looking at some new "do's".  I ran a search, "hairstyles for older women".  And guess whose photo popped up?

JENNIFER ANNISTON.

and

REESE WITHERSPOON

"Older women", huh?
ROFLMBO!!

Honey, it's all a matter of perspective.

I hate to think of what word you would have to use to find hairdos for, um, older, older women.

Well, according to Hollywood standards, these beauties have a clock ticking on their box office appeal. A whole new rank and file bevy of teens are pushing these experienced actresses into older women roles. Still, I'd give my eye teeth for hair like Jennifer Anniston's! And her skin. And her body, and her...money.

I agree taht it is difficult to find a hairstyle that is fun and a little edgy (actually edgy hairstyles did come up as a category) so I don't llok like my mother. I finally resorted to taking in a photo of Sharon Osbourne. I like her hair.

Ok, what does that make me? A fossil? I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, not that it matters since you won't find me in the "older woman" section!

I never even considered them "older women". I still won't...stupid media...I feel just about any hairstyle can work for anyone provided it compliments their facial shape...and it's not dyed four different colors! lol.

I too am joining the Tuesday Train for the first time. =)

Well, I would like to be older like that! Sadly, I'm not...

Oh, Sweet Tea - how funny. Older girls, maybe, but older women - NOT!

Thanks for the smile.

I wish I had my hair back from the haircut I had today! Never, ever get your hair cut when you think you need a whole new style!

If they are old - then I am ancient! Good luck with your haircut!

Older women? I went to the hairdressers and said I wanted to look like Courtney Cox and it didn't work!

Love your blog - I came over from 'House on the Corner'. I am now following you - hope you can stop by my blog too!!
