I am still eating eggs but I checked my eggs first. I have always heard that the shell is the dangerous part. I usually boil my eggs so hopefully that helps.
I am starting to buy eggs locally. Living in a rural area makes this easy. We used to have our own chickens and will have our own once again next spring. I am SO looking forward to having them again! :)
Too bad my yard is too small or I'd get a few chickens. Since it's just dd and I, we don't run through eggs very quickly and the ones we do have are fine.
We are. We finished off the ones in the 'frige and I bought more. If they a well cooked there is no problem. Now, I probably won't be scarfin' down any cookie dough for awhile. Heeehehehehe!!
God bless ya and have the most beautiful day!!! :o)
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

I had a batch of recalled eggs, so glad we didn't eat them.

I have to keep checking my box, but here in Michigan they have been sold mainly to restaurants.

Down here in VA everything seems to be fine. I'm eating them and haven't been checking the number, but I will just in case.
Yes, we're still eating eggs, though only after checking the #'s and cooking them thoroughly!
Still eating eggs...but only local.
