Mister and I seldom plan anything we "have to do" on Saturdays. We are stingy with our Saturdays and consider it family time; only ocassionally does something come up that we will commit to. Last Saturday was one of those times. We went to see a hard-working, nice, young man be honored as an Eagle Scout. He has been dating Princess for a year or so and we have become well acquainted with him. It was a pleasure to see him reach this goal in his life.
Congratulations Russell!
Mister brags that he works with
FOUR Eagle Scouts.
We both brag that our nephew
is an Eagle Scout.
Do you know any Eagle Scouts?

My son-in-law and both his brothers were Eagle scouts, too. When my sil was in the Army he was recruited by the Boy Scouts and he ran their Sea Base in the Keys for 4 years before moving here to run the local Boy Scout organization. When he met my daughter he decided to leave the Boy Scouts because of all the transfers they must make. It is a great organization and something to make one proud! xo Diana
I don't know any Eagle Scouts (Congrats Russell!!) however, we are the same way. Weekends are family time!!! Although, my husband works everyday and sometimes he gets Sundays off but with the holidays, in the last couple months, he had Thanksgiving off. It will remain this way until Christmas so I tend to be "stingy" with our time together also!!!
Cherish your time together. An Eagle Scout - congratulations to Russell. Worthy goal indeed.

Congratulations to Russell (though to be honest I'm not sure what an Eagle Scout is, don't think they have them over here?). Our weekends tend to be down time with family too.
xx
My brother made Eagle Scouts - what a nice young man to date your daughter!

None recently. A ouple many years ago. I think scouting is not as big as it once was and even then, there were very few Eagles. What an outstanding young man your nephew is. I congratulate all the Eagle scouts for their hard work.
Congrats to that young man! My husband has been involved in the Scouting program for over 20yrs. We have one son who Eagled and the other three are life Scouts. It's a great organization. I wish all of ours had decided to Eagle. It's a great thing to have on a resume for college or jobs! Being an Eagle Scout is one of the few achievements that people will still admire a person for when he's 80!
You know, I have no idea if I know any Eagle Scouts or not! Congratulations to Russell!
I love Saturdays when we don't have anything planned.
My SIL was an Eagle Scout. Congrats to Russell.
Yes indeed - two of our boys are Eagles. It's a lot of hard work!
Congratulations Russell!!
I don't know any Eagle Scouts... but I would like to congratulate Russell. Sounds like Princess has a good eye for a good guy!
I do know several Eagle Scouts and have sung at two of their ceremonies. It is awesome.
