SWEET TEA

You may have heard the rumor. . .

I'm a Stripper.
(someone's gotta do it)

It's not a pretty job.

And it's messy.
Today was day #3 of this big undertaking.
This is BIG work.
This is my first project since our move in June.  It's been sort of a bonding  experience with this house.  It's not fun but I knew when we bought this house that the horrid wallpaper had to go.  (what you see is not the actual wallpaper but instead the lining after the print was removed.)  This is the layer that's so hard to remove.  I'm gonna "getter done" and it will be all ready for the holidays.  That's my motivation.   Never mind that there are two more rooms with wallpaper to be removed.  ...All in due time..

For my Followers, just want you to know that sweet little Gentry is home now and weighing in at 5 lbs as of today...Also my Atlanta son is soon to return to work - one more week.  What a journey this has been (since early August).  Not a day goes by that I don't count my blessings!!

You crack me up! I kinda thought you were a stripper all along... I know the type. LOL! I am so glad to hear the good news about Gentry.. I have been praying every morning for her so I am glad for the update. Also, for your son. I can't wait to see your progress come holiday-time. Have a great weekend and don't work too hard.

So happy to hear the family is doing well and life is getting back to normal, what a summer you all have had. Enjoy the "stripping", that is sure hard work and I don't envy you, but you do what you have to do, right. Hugs!

That is work...I helped some people ,I used to sit with their kids, do this and it was lots of small sections making it an even longer process. Hey, I was just a teen, what did I know about that kind of labor. LOL. Glad things are smoothing out there for you. Continued prayers for your family. I wish you great success on that wallpaper job.Blessings, xoxo,Susie

How nice to see a post from you. I took quite a while off from blogging so had to go back and read a bit to catch up. OMGOSH- I am SOOO sorry about your son. That IS the worst kind of stroke you can have. I bet his age stood in good stead in this case. It is unbelievable he is making a comeback like he is. Thank God!
And you have a new GRANDBABY! Congratulations. She is a beauty and FIVE POUNDS!!! Whoo Hooo.

You are doing one of my most dreaded jobs! I HATE stripping (wallpaper)....lol...never tried the other kind.

Hope you have a wonderful weeekend. Can't wait to see everything stripped and painted. xo Diana

My oh my..........that looks like a lot of work. Are you going to paint after you get it all stripped? I just have a small bathroom and one wall in a bedroom to do and I have put it off for YEARS :-( This is my year to host Christmas......and I'll just be happy if I the house semi-clean and put up a few decorations. Good luck! with your house and family

I'm so happy your family is doing so good! Welcome home to your Grandbaby! I hate removing wallpaper. We had tons to remove when we bought this house. Wallpaper seems to be making a comeback though. Not sure that makes me happy! Have a good week!
