Mister had a rough Sunday.
He was good-natured about it though and stepped up when called into duty. Not being one to shirk responsibility he bravely stepped forward, well, not actually forward, as this was more like a "special ops behind closed doors" type of situation. . . (Not to be confused with "Secret Service" type duty. *wink *wink)
He was a Judge at our church

h, boy! BBQ! Here in my little NC town we have 2 "Pig Cookins" a year. that pretty much says it. Then there are all the different churches that have theirs. For a southern there is no such thing as too much BBQ. And, Mr. got to be a jusge. that about makes him royalty I think.

Perfect day for a Southern Gal..a BBQ cookoff..I smiled at this because our church has a chili cookoff in the winter. Opposites or what? Looks like it was fun and delish, the perfect combination!
