GRRRRR-ow-cheeee!

Disclaimer:  If you're looking for
"happy and funny" you'll want to
get out of Dodge right now - and
visit me on another day when I'm in
a better mood.

This is what I'm thinking about today
and I'm not in the mood to sugar-coat
a single word.  .  .

How is it that some of the people we love
the very most can get on our last nerve?!
What happened to the days of simply
being polite?

What happened to laughing at
each others lame jokes?

What happened to commenting to
each other when being spoken to?

What happened to genuinely enjoying
the company of the people one lives with?

What happened to randam acts of
kindness on the homefront?

What happend to listening and being
non-judgemental?

What happened to being non-confrontational?

What happened to saying "I'm sorry" and really
meaning it?

What happened to being polite?

You know the feeling you get when several
people are trying to squeeze through a
narrow door at the same time -
that's how I'm feeling today.

You just have to love 'em through it, and pray that you don't kill 'em. I've been there, I really, really know...

I know exactly what you mean and it totally sucks when you feel this way but sometimes you cant help it.

ohhh..NOT a good place to be! I hope your day gets better. It is hard to treat family as nicely as we do acquaintances sometimes, isn't it? Hugs- Diana

Life is not always pretty is it??
Feelings are just feelings. It's good to express them and then hopefully let them go!

Not sure WHY loved ones can get on our last nerve like they do!!!

Erma Bombeck said it best: "Family, the ties that bind and gag"....I guess you threw out the "Families Are Forever" sign. I hope tomorrow the sun really does come up for you!

I'm not sure but I think that "Teenageritis" may be what happened. I know it is not much help right now, but I can assure you they do get through it. There were honestly times when I would never have believed that my youngest daughter would ever turn into the woman she is today.

Living with a teenager can certainly cause all these feelings and more! Hope today is a better day. (And I have to admit to being glad you're not "up" all the time. I was starting to really feel inferior.) ;-)

Bad day? Hope today is a better one! Family can get on your nerves, sure enough. But they mean well. I'm convinced of that.

Maybe we could switch teenagers for a week or so ... might be good for them AND US!!! Remember, they always act better at someone else's house!

Sadly it does seem things in our society are falling apart.
