- We're not the typical family. I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

I wish my dogs would do that! They run from the hose/sprinkler, but they will get in the creek long enough to get a drink!

Yep I can relate. Beau, my doxie, loves the hose and the sprinkler. He is so funny to watch.
Absolutely can relate! Reminds me of my childhood, actually. We played in the sprinkler, drank from the water hose, spent ourselves in the Oklahoma heat that was summer, then plopped down on the sofa in front of the window unit to cool off. Not much has changed, LOL.
Running the sprinkler is timeless fun for humans or animals. I remember as a teen, putting lawn chair at the edge of the spinkler when sun bathing. Good times.
Just a sprinkle of summer fun! Love the pup pics. My husband always says that he wants to come back in his next live as one of my dogs......but guess who's taking a nap right now with the dogs on our king sized bed?
