Honestly and truly....I make myself do something nice for another person. For instance, yesterday I was feeling stressed, and I gave a little gift to a friend for no reason. Made us BOTH happy.
MUSIC!! Loud, fun music that I can't resist moving my body to! It helps puts some pep in my steps! Then if that doesn't work, I like to whine a little, that makes me feel better, but not necessarily helps those around me to feel better :)
I like to hop in the car, crank up the radio and just drive. The music usually takes my mind of whatever is bringing me down, and I am able to return in a much better mood (usually).
I read books that give my mind something else to ponder OR/& have a conversation with my youngest sister cuz she is always good for something funny OR/& exercise.
I don't usually even try. Just lay down and wallow in the self-pity. When I get tired of that, a trip to the mall for some retail therapy does the trick.
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

Sometimes snuggling with my baby girl or hubby. Maybe watching a "feel good" movie. Listening to my Christian radio station sometimes.
Hope you feel better!!
Hugging grandbabies. I sure loves me some hugs!

Music. I will turn the tv to the music channels, or hop in the car...roll the windows down and turn up the volume.

A walk is nice, but then again, so is chocolate!
I don't. I go to bed early and pray that I wake up in a better mood!
I sit in my created space of a garden and visit with my animals. Does the trick every time!
An hour at Sonic with a diet coke and music playing on the radio. By the time I've done this, I'm usually refreshed.
Chocolate. If that doesn't work, more chocolate.
