I love girly days. I am glad you and your granddolls....and daughter had such fun this week. They are fortunate to have such a great grandmother/mother.
Must have been the week for grandbabies! Mine were here from Baton Rouge. I think Lauren was hoping it would be cooler "up north", but she was sadly mistaken.
Looks like you had a blast. You made it the whole time without anyone getting hurt or having a fight? What a fun time. I would have needed Icy Hot after such a visit. Enjoy the memories. Susan
What a great post about family. I'm lovin' it. Thanks for visiting today. I scrolled down and read a few more posts while I was here, and I saw your one about the other "F" word. Had to leave a comment here... Very interesting. I am with you in trying not to use it at all. I used to use it in a very normal sense as in freaked out, ( going crazy), or... freaking wierd.. describing something totally out of the normal, extraordinary... but now it seems freakin', or I have noticed my young adult kids using friggin' or I have heard frickin' out there in the public...I hate to keep going on in a comment box...cause' my kids say I'm so naive, and I can't keep up with what's bad or good in language and word usage anymore... We are a Christian home, and potty language and gutter talk are OUTTA HERE. But what do you do with all this "halfway" but not really bad language...I agree with you that it will eventually become totally unnoticed as it did in our era with the other words...Yes I remember the dang, durn, darn uprising! Anyhow, that post touched an "I wanna comment / vent here too!!!" So thanks for grace for me addressing a previous post. I will follow suit with you and practice "intentionally" not using that word....that OTHER word... :-) Thanks for sharing family today. Enjoyed visiting. Nice to meet you.
My girls work for Sonic! This is the second post where I see people eating Sonic food! I love their Chipolte burger and cheddar peppers. COme see me often I always have a giveaway or some fun going on. Hugs Anne
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

How fun that must've been! You did all of my favorite things. I love that all of the kids were able to spend that time together with you.
Sounds like a "girly" 3 days!
Looks like everyone had fun, and you're very smart to keep them so busy!
