Do you Bunco?

Tonight's my Bunco Night!

Do you Bunco?

There are lots of variations to the
rules,  We play where we all
bring a
 $5 gift and
we all go home with a $5 gift.Lots of food, fun, mindless chatter
and you leave with a gift.  FUN!

Sour Cream Apple Squares
Tonight's my night to bring a dessert.
I'm trying out a new recipe.
If it's good I'll post it tomorrow.
It's a cake (of sorts) which has
a layer of apples & sour cream
running through it.
My house smells like HEAVEN!

I just posted about Bunco on Monday! Had it here at my house. We play with 12 ladies. We eat, drink a little wine, and have the best time. Our group has been together for about 15 years. We are like sisters.

My parents always had a monthly Bunco parties. Each person contributed $5 and they had some sort of pay scale (most Buncos, most snake eyes, etc). I filled in a few times and LOVED it. I hope to one day get our own group started!!!

I have never played! Don't know a thing about it. I guess it just isn't that big around here because the only people I know who play I know from blogs and message boards.
The dessert looks heavenly and I hope it is delicious, too! Enjoy! :)

I used to play bunco in my old neighborhood and I miss it so much!

The apple dessert does sound delicious. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.

I sure hope your dessert tastes good because I want the recipe! A friend of mine where we used to live played Bunco, but I never have...sounds like such a good time!

I don't Bunco, but I do eat just about anything that has apple in it. Can't wait for the recipe. Have fun.

I'm not familiar with Bunco. But I'm an avid card player. Is it similar? Blessings, SusanD

I am embarrassed to admit, I don't know what Bunco is. I mean, I've "heard" tons of my bloggie buddies talk about it, but I've never played. However, it sounds like great fun!

Yes, I Bunco with my neighbors. We each bring $10.00 and a snack. We recently changed some of our rules to include a $10.00 hostess gift but I'm not thrilled about that. I don't need another knick knack.

That dessert looks delicious! I've always wanted to learn to play Bunco, but I've yet to find a group that will teach me. Maybe one day. I figure it is a lot of fun because I hear everyone talking about it!

First of all isn't Bunco the squad that goes out and pickes up hookers and gamblers?

Second of all that desert looks delicious and third of all you didn't get hit by that bad weather did you?

I'm hosting bunco Tuesday morning...I'd love the recipe if it's good. We throw in $5 and give $ to most buncos, last bunco of the day, most wins, most losses.
Mostly it's about the food and the talking : )

My bunco group has been together since our babies were toddlers. My daughter will be 37 this summer:) We've gone from the floor and playing 21 games to card tables and 15 games:) Whoever hosts provides a meal and the gifts. We have a money jar to which everyone contributes and to which subs pay. At the end of the year, the person with the highest number of buncos for the year wins the money in the jar. We joke that we will have to have our games at the nursing home one day.
