How long has it been...

...since you walked barefoot in the rain?

I was shopping today when the clouds burst.  It poured.  I tried to wait it out but it just kept on keepin' on.  So I made my purchases, took off my shoes, and soldiered out into the rain.  As I made my way to the exit the cashier laughed, saying, "I've never seen anyone do that before" motioning to my shoes. It was warm summer rain.

“It Felt Wonderful!”

Funny. Years ago, I would have done that too....but any more I am a germ -a-phobe .. I don't like my feet to be dirty. Can't wear shoes without socks even. Seeing your feet in the water made me think of my daughter nick-name. Puddle Jumper. Enjoy, xoxo,Susie

I actually did the same with my granddaughter last week, we both love going barefoot most of the time anyway....

It's been way too long for me, matter of fact I must have been just a child the last time I did that. What a great idea though :)

I do that when I'm wearing good/new shoes. :) It does turn out to be fun, though. :)

A few years ago I was at the farmer's market and my sandals broke. I didn't want to go home so I went barefoot! It had just rained and I loved it! Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and be surprised!

Way to go! This post certainly did bring back some memories. I used to do things like that all the time when I was younger. I'd forgotten how much fun that was.

Fun! I love being able to do spontaneous things like that. As a kid when it rained (not a thundershower) we'd put on our swimsuits and play in the rain. Right now I just avoid shoes like the plague. LOL

I was reading back posts and saw your feet. How cute I used to love to walk in the mud puddles as a kid. My mama would say, "You're gonna get ground itch." I never did. I like to walk in the rain. Yes, sometimes we just need to be a kid again. You have pretty feet:)
