SWEET TEA

Right here. Right now.

I've been told I "shoot from the hip" and I'm a "straight talker".
Thank you very much.

I talk about all sorts of things on this blog, but I seldom talk about my faith.  No, I'm not gonna start preaching or throwing out judgement like it's candy on Halloween, but I am gonna start posting, once a week, what I'm thinking about as it relates to my faith.  I hope you find it interesting, and maybe even helpful or inspirational, just as I do.

Here's what's speaking to me
"Right Here.  Right Now".

I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say. Although many times when I read your posts, especially about your Mom, I see your faith shining through.

I am looking forward to it. I find myself in a spiritual warfare and I need every bit of The Good News I can get! I crave it.

I agree with Nonnie! We will enjoy reading what you have to say but your life already says a good bit! I may join you in this once a week thing.

You don't have to throw the bible around to show your faith. But I am not afraid to say I believe in God. He has been there for me long before blogs.:):) I always ask that He bless my blog pals. I am ready to read your posts. xoxo,Susie

And now I have that song in my head.

More of us should do the same. I'm looking forward to being uplifted!

Funny that you say that, as I always sing that little song in my head when I read that verse. LOL
Great minds!!

That is the nicest compliment!!
Thank you so much!!

Me too, Sandra. Looking at things through someone else's eyes
Can really give insight sometimes and make for good conversation.

Spiritual warfare? I totally agree. Some people think one is "strange" to think such things
but if we could see the spirit world through human eyes I think we'd be shocked to see what surrounds us.

That verse is a great reminder to all of us....it speaks to us in so many parts of our lives.

Sweet Tea said...

Feel free to join me in posting the same, if you'd like.
I find it so very interesting to see how people "think" - it's not about religion,
But it is about belief & faith.

I agree, Jeanie. Love this vers!

2 Chronicles 7:14
My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

I love this country and believe it is the best hope for the world, but I also believe we are reaping what we have sown by neglect, mismanagement and disobedience. This passage gives us the clear path to forgiveness!

Pretty straight forward isn't it?!

What a great idea...AND I just have to say I feel you DO already share your faith through your "sweet" posts :)
