I don't want to seem ungrateful,
but honestly I didn't think the
Super Moon was so super.
"I've seen bigger.

- We're not the typical family. I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

It didn't seem bigger here but it was very bright.
I'm with the other Cheryl. :) The moon is always beautiful. (But I didn't get a good look at it from here. Too tired)
Thank you! As I stood looking at it at 10:30ish (when it was supposed to be peak) I kept thinking I was sure I'd seen bigger/brighter moons. Not that it wasn't beautiful, though. Very beautiful.
Thought that it was just me, but yeah, I've seen bigger moons too!
Hubby was impressed, but I didn't see it. Didn't remember till I was already in bed and I wasn't getting up!
We had too many clouds- i was so disappointed I didn't see it~
Well dang it all! I didn't get to see it and compare!
Well due to monsoons rains dumping 2.5" of rain in Raleigh in about a 4 hour period on Saturday night we saw NOTHING!! MOL...but now we have very green tall grass.

It was pouring rain all afternoon and night...the moon was not in sight. Oh well...

and just btw..no, I wasn't feelin' the whoopi di do of it all...of course, we had traveled almost 1300 miles this weekend and attended a couple graduations, ETC, so it could just be me!! :)
I missed it due to forgetting and cloud cover....I appreciate your opinion since I now don't feel like I missed too much.
I concur, said the same thing that night...I kept looking waiting for it to get bigger.

I think if I'd been on a beach or a mountaintop... well I do live on a mountaintop but there were so many trees I couldn't get a shot if I'd wanted to. The best moons were the ones we gazed at when we were young and in love...
