I'm stepping into my BIG GIRL PANTIES today.
I.Have.A.Terrible.Toothache.
* Dentist Appointment this morning. *
God bless my family.
I spent yesterday in a medicated
semi-coma. Mr. bought me
mashed potatoes & gravy
for dinner. Princess took phone calls, etc.
I took medicine to help with the pain
and whined a lot (when I wasn't sleeping).

LMBO!!! You're funny...with the song and all! Ya know, my daughter was doing the same thing yesterday, minus the medication. She has a lose tooth so she was all whining to the point I had to tell her to cool it cause it was getting to be too much. She's a drama queen so I know she didn't need to whine as much as she was. I don't want to sound like a mean mom or anything...lol! I just know how she can be sometimes. :o)

Oh there is only one thing worse than toothache and that is going to the dentist. I have a huge fear of the dentist - dread going. Hope you have had it fixed by now and are feeling more comfortable.
I would rather go to my dentist than my doctor to be honest! At least you will soon be pain free though.
Oh I feel for you....I've been there done that and it isn't anything to make fun of!

I have an appointment the 24th...hopefully just a cleanin'. Crossin' my finger and my toes here.

Oh my gosh, I feel so bad for you. I've been there more than a few times and I can remember one really bad toothache that I wanted to just die. When the novacaine finally stopped the pain, I wanted to marry the Dentist...(he was very old..I didn't care)..Hope all goes well, as I'm sure it will...and you feel better soon!
I need a crown and I keep hanging on b/c I am cheap. I will regret it when it starts to hurt!! 'you gotta watch this...

really cracks me up every time I think of the dentist.
I hope you got some nitrous like the lady in the picture....that stuff sure makes it all go away, at least for a while.
I hate it for you that you are in so much pain - hope the root canal alliterated some of it. I remember when my husband had one - ouch.
Do you know the poor dentist has the highest suicide rates - they think because the cause people pain!

OUCH! Hope your dentist is as wonderful as mine is when doing work: He'll ask every minute or so if I'm okay, & if I start feeling anything, he ups the painkiller!
Bless your heart, I sure do feel for ya! :( I absolutely detest going to the dentist. I'd rather have a baby than have my teeth worked on. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I've never heard the song before. Maybe I'm a little behind times?
I had a horrible toothache over a year ago and needed a root canal. The pain was SO intense I was crying in the dentist chair. Of course, they don't get medication, they stick ice cubes on it and poke it.
I gave birth six times without medication, the shortest labor was 12 hours. I would give birth to six kids at the same time before I would willingly go through another toothache! Feeling your pain!

Only you can find something to sing about after a root canel. (and I do remember that song). None of that dental "happy gas" stuff works on me so I just get the novacane and go with it. The worst is over now. Sorry you lost a day in pain because of it.
Thank goodness you are out of pain. Any pain above your neck seems worse cause it is so clase to your brain and those little ouchie messages get home quicker.
