I love BIG earrings.

It seems if my hair is cut too short
the earrings "fill in".
Long hair?
Then why even bother to wear
earrings unless they're BIG?
No one can see earrings covered
by long hair.

I LOVE big earrings. When I went out to run the other day, the wind was blowing so hard and my earrings were so big it actually blew one off of my ear.
I once like them small, just little studs but now I want bigger, and agree short hair big earrings its all about ther balance!!lol,,,
(what do I know, no one asks me for fashion advice) I likes what I likes,,,,,,,
I never wore big earrings while working due to them getting in the way of the phone.
I love colorful, unique earrings. My longest earrings are of a lighthouse. My friend made them for me and I have a matching necklace.

I would say mine are a medium size silver hoop that I wear every day. No point getting me other earrings because I rarely wear anything else.
I ALWAYS wear earrings! ALWAYS! It is the first thing I put on! And, NO, I do not have pierced ears! I DO have a HUGE collection of earrings, though!
And Big is always BETTER, isn't it?
I wore LARGE gold hoops for AGES! For the last year or so I've been wearing a pair of bi-color (half silver/half gold) elongated hoops that are slightly twisted. (Sounds much more confusing than it actually is. I have that gift.) First thing I put on every single day or I feel positively naked.
I wore earrings every single day for 40 years...lol...I had to quit wearing them while working at my hospital job and am now kind of out of the habit.

I'm with you! I (of the big hair generation) have come down from big hoops to medium now. I do think the long chandelier earring (or {"shoulder dusters" as my mother called them) are for the younger girls. On them I like them though. Live big I say!
I do like my earrings hanging.....and now that my hair is really short, I need them!
Love the song reference! LOL I used to wear big earrings, but now the only ones I wear are the diamond studs that my husband surprised me with several years ago. My face and neck are big enough without drawing attention to that area. HAHA!
I always wear earrings, usually just sort of medium hoops of some sort. Now you have gone and made me feel boring.....I'll have to go out and get some BIG ones.
Okay now to prove Chatty even more boring - I used to have pierced ears - but I let them grow back and I am natural! Teehee.

Hello, I've just found your blog and had to chime in because I simply adore earrings. I wear a lot of hoops, too. Not Real Big, but not too small. I don't like tiny earrings at all. But, I'm getting older and really large earring on me look silly. I've been toying lately with the idea of trying make my own.

I love big earrings also!! My only problem right now is they won't stay in and it seems as though I lost that little clear piece of plastic that holds them in place. Time to hit Claires to get some. I just hope they carry those little things.
I had always been one of those discrete stud earring kinda' girls until the last years. I got bold and daring and actually wearing dangly earrings, now. However, they have to be lightweight because of nerve damage to one ear, so it is a challenge.
I don't know how or why this tranformation occurred in my life, but maybe it has something to do with drawing attention away from the wrinkles???

Girl, I'm 59 and I rock big earrings all the time. I have ones that touch (almost) my shoulders and I started making jewelry mainly because of my love of earrings. "I love big earrings and I cannot lie"...too funny.
I love earrings but usually wear smaller ones. I do like big earrings though. They can really frame your face and make you feel pretty! I like bracelets too! Anyone else?
