SWEET TEA

contentment OR denial?

Today is one of those rare days,
the ones that come around about as often
as Halley's Comet.  Things are as they should be. . .

The laundry is done.
The house is clean.
Dinner is baking.
Heck, I'm even having
a good hair day!

There is something in this type
of day that screams,
"All is well in the land".

I'm smart enough to know not
to analyze this feeling,
or dig too deeply.
Things are often not as they seem,
or even as they appear.

Probably a case of fluctuating hormones.

But for today,
for this moment,
for the now"All is well".

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Just in case all this
ooey-gooey-sweet talk
has made you naseaus,
stop by tomorrow 'cause I'm
gonna tell you 'bout a major
screw-up I made.

When things are all going as they should I tend to look over my shoulder wondering what is going to happen...this is too good to be true! I know just what you mean! But, enjoy it while it is here!

Glad your chakra is in harmony with your chi, an almost full moon and no PMS. What is working for you is working against me and I'm all but lying on the fainting couch in a flood of tears. Enjoy this blessed respite from the real world as long as you can. I'll be back tomorrow to see what you got yourself into!

Don't you find that most of the time you are either going into something or just coming out of something! Always moving in a circle. sandie

Funny how we skim through all the happy talk, and we just can't WAIT to hear about the screwup thing. Glad all is well today.

I wish my laundry was all done. But that's the never ending job.

I'm happy that you had a great day to hopefully make up for the screw up. I'm hoping that whatever it is can be fixed easily.
