Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!!

"The key to change... is to let go of fear."
   ~Roseanne Cash

Nothing stays the same forever -
(with just a few exceptions.)

"Change happens",
and it's getting ready
to happen here.
I have been looking at my home
through different eyes lately.
And I have the desire to make
lots of changes within our home.

Funny how a person can just wake up
one morning and realize
their taste has changed.
I wonder if this is normal.
Have you ever done this?

I am fortunate to be married to this guy.
He rolls with the changes
and puts up with all
my ideas.

I have recently discovered a love
for all things
chicken wire.
"Baskets, and Cabinets, and Frames.
Oh my!"

Painted furniture.
LOVE this too!

I just bought this
and I'm not afraid to use it.

I'll have something very colorful
to show you soon!

YIPEE!

Note:  in regards to yesterdays post -

the haircut was "close enough" that I
consider it a success!
Now,
if I was 30 yrs younger,
30 lbs lighter,
had perkier boobs
and highlights
I'd be looking a lot like this photo.
Sometimes reality really sucks,
but a good haircut is always
a "good thing".

LOL
Good for you.....that is some bold orange paint..but I like it.

We're making some changes too. Painting the exterior of our home same color gray but changing the shutters and we're painting the ceiling of the back porch a color called Spa...cross between aqua and pale green. The front porch ceiling will match the shutters...color still under consideration.
Good luck

Wow - first a new haircut, now the world! LOVE that pumpkin-ish paint, and can't wait to see what you're going to do with it! Color - yes, I love color, and I'm not afraid to use it either.

Change is a secure envionment is a safe change. It sounds like great fun. I once had a "I'm Sick of Country" garage sale and that's the ad I put in the paper. That was in the early 90's. I have gone through a few changes since. Use that paint and we want to see what you did with it. I'm imspired.

Congrats on the hair too. My stylist cut mine too short again. I think I done with her after 2 years and she still can't get it right.

The change in hairstyle must have felt so successful that you decided there was a lot more change in order. It sounds like you have some fun plans. Everytime I make those kinds of changes all I hear from Doc is "what's wrong with white?"

My hubby said to me when I was talking about painting the LR.."how about a shade of orange"...it hasn't happened yet, but I'm excited to see what you do with yours! I also want a pic of that hair!

Congrats on the new 'do'. I love when my stylist gets it right. KInda makes it fun to strut your stuff for a bit. A little head toss...ya know the drill!
Ohhh changes in the house are such fun. And you're going to be wielding a brush now there is major fun. Looking forward to the results with detailed photos!

Change IS good, most of the time.:)
A new haircut is ALWAYS good.
Painted furniture is just short of heaven..

Change is good! Apparently studies show that if you are constantly changing and studying and improving your mind, there's less chance of Altzheimer's and a host of other plagues.

The only change WE don't like is the one from summer to fall! Boo hoo!
