- We're not the typical family. I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

Hope you like this salon, it took me a few years to finally find a young gal that can cut my hair the way I like. Enjoy...it always feels good to be pampered a little.

Finding a new Stylist is so painful. It's hard to find one you have confidence in. My main thing is "Do not make me look like an old lady" just because I am one. I took my spiley haired Sharon Osbourne pic in yesterday and she still cut the sides too short. I've been going there for 2 years. Dang woman, what does it take?
I am so anxious to see if yours got it right. Long the cut by the way. Very trendy.

Good luck with your new do..I'm going to try and grow my hair out..I say that every time I leave the salon..my stylist always says: "OK, good luck..but I know I'll see you in 6wks anyway!" She knows me too well!

I tried to comment a while ago and couldn't get through, but right now it seems to be working. Can't wait to see your new haircut. Never know what you'll get with someone new, although that can be said for the tried and true as well. The young lady who cuts my hair cut it too long this time so I'll need it trimmed again in a couple of weeks!

I had gone to the same hairdresser for 33 years - and he is starting to retire (at 66 he says he is going to cut back). We have known each other so long its like having a neat big brother with a good work ethic.
