- We're not the typical family. I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

I would say that my good news was the fact I didn't have to experience a test like you did on the posting a few back. (Very good news for the week.)Left you a love note there!
In May I had a re-run without being in the hospital this time. Was less stressful I will say.

We got to have a great time out in Six Flags Magic Mountain and also to take a friend to see the Hollywood sign all in less than a week of returning from Las Vegas (post to come!). AND...we got home safely!!!
I won a cookbook from Sweet Tea. That was Good News! :) Thanks again.
A/C functioning steady & strong in the 100+ heat!!
My daughter finally passed her permit test today and has started her driving with a parent period of time. I guess that's good and uh-oh news at the same time.
I worked my very last day of work outside of the home. Now I'll have my own business at home :)
Got my physical over today for a year - I hate them! lol

My husband, who is a lifelong Boy Scout, is in Philmont this week. He's wanted to go since he was a cub scout, but at age 58 it finally worked out. Philmont Scout Camp is in New Mexico. They are on a 10-day trek through scenic mountains & beautiful land. Not my dream, but I'm glad that's it's a reality for him, today is their first day of hiking.
Talked to my California grandchildren. Always a blessing!

I would say that after this week in our Surgery dept...just making it to Friday is the best news I've had...looking forward to a fun July 4th!
