That is *almost* the same memory I have of my mom! Every Saturday, she would wash our hair at the kitchen sink, and years later I did it the same way for my children. To this day, I lean over the kitchen sink (because I hate showers and gettting water in my face.) Some things about my childhood I changed as I grew up...found my own way of doing things. But other ways are still the same. Happy Mother's Day!

Sink washing here too...especially if it was after we had gone to the beach. Song wise...I have lots of them....my mom sang all the time....I guess though the feel good song was one called "Sweet Violets" and it is so funny. Hope your Mother's Day was wonderful.
