I haven't been bored since 1972!! oF COURSE I do play Scrabble and Words With Friends - which reminds me! Didn't WE use to play together??? I need to send you a game request - that is if you are still playing!
I've been catching up on a lot of shows that I've been behind in. We should go to school for a whole week this coming week! 2 weeks until spring break! :)
Sigh...spring can't get here any faster...I am so tired of cold and snow...anyways--since I am out in it everyday--I try to spend my Sat. getting caught up with hubby, son, tv, blogging...the list prob. could go on and on. Blessings
I have been baking, cooking, eating, doing chores around the house, reading, eating, etc. I have found it hard to concentrate though, and there is NOTHING worth watching on TV. I have a Pinterest account, but really don't do anything with it.
That's funny, Deb. I have had a Pinterest site set up for a couple of years and have never used it until the last couple of days. I am housebound so this has been fun!!! xo Diana
I wondered how I would manage recovering from my surgery during the long winter months. I found out that I haven't been bored..not once! Once I was able to get around I've found tons of things to do at home..cleaning out drawers, closets, basement..going through papers. Watching TV! Taking a nap in the afternoon and taking time to bake bread and plan fun meals. Yep, I could get used to this! One day I'm hoping to look out the window and not see 6ft of snow. Tonight we're bracing for 8-10in. of the white stuff. I'm enjoying watching the wildlife that visits daily at the Pines and just chillin' out. Once I go back to work at the end of March and the warmer months hit I'll be busy in other ways. I'll miss this quiet time I've had. I'm glad I did the surgery when the weather was nasty and I could sleep in and ignore the blizzards and snow filled roads...Yep, no boredom here!
We're not the typical family.
I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

I read when I'm bored. Right now I'm into a good Barbara Kingsolver book.
