SWEET TEA

Small things.

I picked some roses from my garden today,
placed them in a vase and gave them
to Mom to keep in her room.

I thought she would like them.

Who knew she would LOVE them?!
Sometimes it really is the small things that make such a difference.

The small things can be great things to some. Your mommy love you. Do you remember picking dandelions for her? xoxo, Susie

Aww, your mom is so lucky to have you to do little things for her that you know she will like, or love.

Small? I think you are making such a big difference in your Mom's life and well-being. We are seeing proof in your posts about her. You're a sweet daughter.

Little gestures and the smallest of things mean so much to so many. What a wonderful daughter you are to do something so sweet and to take care of your Mom with what she is going through!! Hugs.

I agree with Nonnie! You are making a huge difference in the life of your mom. I know it's not always easy. My mom lives with one of my sisters and she is convinced that daughter does not like her! It's usually the primary caregiver that gets the brunt of any conflicts! I am so glad Mother had more than ONE daughter!!

I completely agree. It is the small things that make the world a nicer place. How fortunate you are to have roses! We don't even have leaves on our trees yet.

So sweet and thoughtful! We send flowers to my husband's mother in a nursing home. She isn't suppose to get real flowers, but they make an exception in her case. She loves real flowers as they remind her of her past gardens.

I can't believe you have roses like that blooming now! They are beautiful!

Oh, I agree. What can seem like a small gesture, can actually be a great one. Your thoughtfulness touched your mother's heart, made her feel loved and special.
