I've gone into hiding
because of a little problem.
"I need new bras!"
I need them really baaaad.

I don't want you to know
how long I've been wearing the current ones.
No. Don't even guess.
I am allergic to lyrcra/spandex/microfiber
and it is difficult to find bras
that are all cotton.
The last few times I bought new ones
I ordered them online.
but alas,
the ones I order are no more.
Stores do not have cotton bras.
Even the ones that are marked "all cotton"
actually have spandex/lyrcra in them,
which it states in the tiniest of print.
Then as I searched online I found the
same situation, with the exception
of this lovely "nursing" bra.
Now doesn't this just make
your heart go pitty-pat?!
After searching online for several hours
I finally found this site
which is totally new to me.
The selection is sparse but at least
there IS a selection.
It pains me to admit
"I have become 'Maxine'".

Sweatshirts and sports bras - two of my favorite things.
I'm allergic to laytex rubber in elastic so I have issues finding things too. Victoria's Secret has cotton bras but I wonder if there is some 'stretch' in them that you'd have issue with. Good luck!

One of my retire teacher friends agrees with Maxine about sweatshirts. My friend says anytime she puts on a bra her husband will ask "where are you going"?

I love Maxine! There are worse people you could be. Maybe you could just get those stick on things from Fredrick's of Hollywood...
I cannot imagine all the hunting you have to do. I have a difficult enough time finding bras without underwires. I don't like them. They all wind up poking and popping through.
Maxine is my hero. The older I get the wiser she becomes. Kind of like our adult children with us.
Oh my goodness, I don't envy you! Maxine is probably far more comfortable, mind you ;-) xx
LOL....I hate bra shopping and I can never order mine I always have to try them on because the size varies depending on the maker..lol

I see somebody already suggested Victoria's Secret's cotton bras. I've never noticed if they have any spandex in them (and my tags are too washed out to read...) I would live in a sports bra most of the time if I could - so comfy! Good luck with your hunt - truthfully, I thought some of the ones on that site were fine!
I'm not allergic to anything and I have a hard time finding a bra that I like, so I can imagine what a problem it is for you. I hope you find just the right "uplift".
I say go braless LOL...You poor thing that stinks to have to search high and low for all cotton.
Well, that's a crummy problem to have. How about silk? I think Silk surroundings might sell bras...at least those "leisure bras". What the heck is a Leisure Bra anyway? One that lies around and does nothing? xo Diana
Bras are uncomfortable ennough....without bein allergic to them! Gee -- that IS a rough situation....can you get away with just a camisole?
I do feel your pain. I have 2 bras that are perfect.. and comfy.. but come to think of it, I believe they might be cotton. I've purchased plenty over the years but always go back to them. They are not very attractive at this point.. but... well, you know. I'm going to check out your new found site. I am in total agreement with you on this whole issue. Yep!

I couldn't find my favorite bra anymore either but found it there and it was cheaper!
