Gratitude.

Mom and Me
September 7, 2011

Mister had a business meeting in
Tulsa and I tagged along.
I got to spend the entire afternoon
with my Mom.

When I think about my life
I realize my Mom
has been my greatest
Teacher.

"I am overwhelmed with gratitude."
Just sayin. . .

I just read yesterday where one of things you should never tell a woman is that she looks just like her mother, but I take it as a compliment and I hope you do to when I say you look just like your lovely momma.

Beautiful picture...Moms have a very very big job to do raising children who come w/o instructions....all on the job training.

Aaawww, what a lovely post. I lost my Mom 5 years ago this month.

While she was still here, but as she got older, I realized every day was precious. Hug yours for me and cherish every moment.

Love it!! So glad you got some time with your mom!! I feel my mom has also been a great inspiration in my life. She is a Christ follower and I'm sure without her, I wouldn't be. I too am grateful!

In truth, our parents shape our entire lives. What a beautiful picture of you and your mom. Glad you got to share the day with her, every hour is precious. I still dream of wrapping my arms around my mother for one last hug and it feels so good. God's gift of comfort.

I sure hope your Mom saw this. If I'm crying - and I am - just think how she'll feel.

What a great pic! I love my Mom to bits and I appreciate all she went through to teach me, help me and I'm still amazed at her strength and ability to continue as Matriarch in our family at the ripe young age of 85!
