Friendship.Failed.

I set out to make a new friend 3 wks ago.
The relationship has failed.
I.Am.NOT.To.Blame.
"Jenny Craig sucks!".
There.  I said it.
I want to lose some poundage before
Summer and I thought Jenny Craig
would help me.

Let it be known that Jenny Craig is no friend of mine!
(So thankful I only ordered the
One Week Trial Package of food.
Blech!

Lean Cuisine is my new Friend.
I like her, even though I admit I
am beginning to grow a little tired
of her company.

This is my Helper.
I loaded it onto my ipad
and have quickly become
codependent.
(this also loads to iphones)

Now the BIG QUESTION,
"How have I done?".

-7 1/2 lbs
(today was my 3 week weigh in)
Unfortunately there is no speeding bullet,
but at least I'm headed in the right direction.
I use Lean Cuisine for dinner
then calorie count for other meals.

This is my fav diet treat!
I often put this 150 cal treat
into my diet plan.  YUM!

What works for you?
Got any tips for me?

You're back! Hooray! I've missed you.

Not surprised about Jenny Craig. It doesn't even look appetizing. At least you're heading the right direction. I can't seem to make the scale move--certainly not the way I want to anyway. I put a ticker on my blog and if you've noticed, it hasn't moved. Arrgghh! I'll be checking back with you to see what tips you get!

Yay, you! My brother gave me "Slim in 6" and I did it for a week...until I hurt myself coughing really, really hard! I lost 50 pounds 10 years ago by going to a dietician who put me on a 1200 calorie/day diet. Sadly I've gained most of it back, and can't the darned scale to move!

I don't think she'd be a friend of mine either.

Hope the Lean Cuisine offers a better tasting menu. Congrats on your weight loss so far. You can do it!

I did Jenny Craig for a few weeks. I managed to lose weight, but it got expensive. I love the "Lose It" application and LOVE anything Skinny Cow. Congrats on your loss!

I can relate. My hubby and I just started a weight loss program at our gym. We meet with a trainer twice a week for fifteen weeks. Keeping a food diary is often quite helpful. Remembering to write down everything is not always easy, but it can be quite the eye opener. Good luck!

Congrats on the weight lose! I know how hard it can be! I've tried Nutrasystem but after two weeks, could not eat the food...my stomach rebelled, literally!

By the way, love your banner picture!

Love the banner a lot. Congrats on the weight loss. I have tried them all...can't give you a good fix sorry. I need to lose 50 myself.

Welcome back. I LOVE that header picture. Well, Weight Watchers is my friend right now but not really so much. I lost the first week and the next two weeks gained. Harumph! I'm still plodding on but being holed up in the house from the snow and ice may take a toll on the loss. Good luck.

So sorry about your friend. You're right, it's not your fault. Good luck.

On a diet is really one great pain specially having those temptation sweets in every corner. Good thing Skinny Cow is there. Love that a lot.

I haven't tried the Skinny Cow. Will put that on my grocery list!

Around seven years ago I was diagnosed with outrageous cholesterol. I had dieted before but this was different. Bound and determined not to go on the 'precription drugs' and not supported by Dr. Whitecoat I searched and researched. Within three months...over summer break...I lowered my cholesterol into the normal range.

I started by makin' the American Heart Association diet a lifestyle. I've since modified our favorite recipes to match my requirements. I exercised through the process. Yoga, walkin' swimmin...chasin' wild~eyed cattle.

This time was different 'cause I made it all about the health and not to loose weight. The 25lb weight loss was just an added benefit. Since this is a lifestyle I've kept the weight off and the cholesterol down.

Ya just have to fine something that works for you and something ya can live with. I love it that you are allowin' yourself 'treats'. You just have to do that. We have a 'sweet' cheat treat on Sundays. I also keep small things like Dove chocolate when a girl just has to have some chocolate. Ya gotta do it.

You go girl and the best of luck to ya.

Ya'll have a wonderfully blessed weekend!!!

Hi I am new to you and hope you will come join me too. I am a walker and my Sweets is a runner. We lost so much weight last summer. I am so ashamed to say we both piled it on this winter. I am anxious to get walking and we decided we are going to splurge and buy a treadmill. Portion control works for me. I am a lover of bread and sweets! Argh...Wishing you the very best. Hugs Anne

good luck! Now that I have gotten older it is so hard to lose weight. I need to lose at least 10 lbs. and I know, some people will say. 10 lbs!, that's nothing. Well, it is if you need to lose it. Sweets is my downfall. I am trying to stop snacking on sweet things that are laying around the house (and so easy to pick up as you walk by) and eating more fiber and walking. I think it will work once the weather cooperates and I can walk every day.
