If you could only have one kind of Christmas Cookie, which kind would you choose?
I love chocolate chip cookies the best. But I am on day #4 of fasting from my Chocolate addiction. Yep, 4 days without chocolate. I can do this.
ReplyDeleteProbably Fruitcake Cookies!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made Peanut Butter Blossoms in FOREVER!!! I just might make some soon!
My favorite is a Mexican cookie called pan de polvo. Yours sound great, too! Love the little Grinch~
ReplyDeleteYou are getting it all together, aren't you? Would have to say my Christmas cookies with buttercream frosting. Like the Grinch and Boudxy.
ReplyDeleteI like a ginger cookie with butter cream frosting. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteRugelach for sure -- with apricot jam, crushed pecans and mini chocolate chips.
ReplyDeleteFor Christmas I like decorated sugar cookies, but the cookies that are a family tradition are always the best.
ReplyDeleteOur family favorite cookie is a Candy Cane cookie my mother started making in the 50's. We make at least one batch every Christmas. This year I'll be making them with two of my grandchildren. Nothing better than food and memories to go with it!
ReplyDeletePeanut Butter Rules our house...
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for decorated sugar cookies or those candy cane cookies. But the one we always make every year are those jam thumbprint cookies that are rolled in coconut before you press the thumbprint and fill with jam. If I didn't make those, people would complain.
ReplyDeleteBoudxy does look a little "Grinchy"!
ReplyDeleteI've been spoiled by my mom, who at 82 still bakes about 40 kinds of cookies. My girls and I bake a lot too so I could never choose just one favorite. I guess if I had to pick it would be macaroons. I could eat the entire recipe myself.
ReplyDeleteHe may hate the hat, but he's so cute!! Your cookies sound good, but no pictures of the finished product?? They sound delish, I've never had them. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteit's a toss up between peanut butter and a white chocolate chip & macadamia nut cookie with dried cranberries, I call them Cranberry Christmas cookies, but then I really enjoy a good oatmeal raisin cookie too....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of cookie at Christmas is actually candy. Some call them peanut butter pinwheels, some call them potato candy. Whatever you call them, they are a melt in your mouth yumminess of sugar and peanut butter and too rich for any other time of year. Have fun with your baking.
ReplyDeletesounds wonderful , my fav cookie are thimble cookies,
ReplyDeleteI'm not even thinking about cookies, I'm thinking about how real you are posting the pic of your messy kitchen.
ReplyDeleteYea! My kinda' girl!
