When the best is the worst.

I have the VERY BEST husband in the
entire world.
He brought me home an Apple Fritter.
I love them almost as much as I love him.

  2. I know what you mean! I eat very healthy for the most part. Not candies and cakes, not fried foods, no gravy.....
but I DO love those Hostess Chocolate covered donuts. You know - the inexpensive kind in convenience stores by the roll of 6 donuts. Or the bags in the grocery store. I LOVE them with a - you guess it!! DIET Coke!!

Well, LD is picking up a CASE of them at Sam's today - he just called to tell me. I should stop him.....but I can't. You know how it is!!

    Enjoy each and every fritter!!

  5. LOL sounds like me with a container of Fudge Tracks ice cream. For some reason I think I must eat it all in one sitting....very hard to control my piggish impulse.

  6. I have been married for 30 years. My husband brings me home chocolate. I don't like chocolate but he does. So I say " No thanks" and he thinks he is being nice by offering. But.... I will walk over small cihldren to get my hands of Ruffles Potato chips, which I have not had in almost a year. Those, he hasn't brought home. BTW... I like those fritters too.

  7. Ahhhh!! I love them too! When people bring donuts to work somebody, probably Satan, always has an apple fritter thrown it just to terrorize me...I'm drooling by the way. Can I marry your hubby? (Just kidding)

  9. That... was just mean. Speaking as someone trying to limit the deliciousness in her life, I mean. I hope you enjoyed it enough for both of us.

  11. Doc is always bringing me donuts on weekends. He used to ask and I would (usually) say no, then he just started bringing them without asking. It is one thing turning down a donut that is still at the donut shop...it is quite another turning down one that is staring you in the face.
