We also get to see Air Force One from time to time because they practice landings at our airport in Charleston. Very short runway = good practice. And girlfriend, you KNOW those pilots were giving you the once over! ;)KTWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709756075367058704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4923368625647031806.post-9289828563320993012012-01-30T21:33:22.377-06:002012-01-30T21:33:22.377-06:00I love this post, Sweet Tea...

I know for a fact that you have issues flying.

On my way to Charleston one year, as I was driving on an unknown road that Garmin had lead me down. Or rather I should say up! It was a VERY steep hill. I'll also note at the time, I had no cell phone service. Just as I was about to get to the top of the steep hill, a very LARGE B52 came over the hill. Skeered the bejesus out of me! All I could do was stop breathing and pray it didn't scrape the top of Fiona. It was so close I could actually see dirt and grease on the bottom of the plane.Shirley Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13118139526402639023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4923368625647031806.post-53114390645152309602012-01-30T12:20:59.705-06:002012-01-30T12:20:59.705-06:00Now those are some big honkin' planes.

It's a bit frightening to think about several B52s possibly getting ready to deploy. Makes one wonder what will happen next.
